For the director of music. To the tune of “The Doe of the Morning.” A psalm of David.
εις το τελος υπερ της αντιλημψεως της εωθινης ψαλμος τω δαυιδ ο θεος ο θεος μου προσχες μοι ινα τι εγκατελιπες με μακραν απο της σωτηριας μου οι λογοι των παραπτωματων μου
ַ֭מְנַצֵּחַ עַל־אַיֶּ֥לֶת הַשַּׁ֗חַר מִזְמ֥וֹר לְדָוִֽד׃
My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? why are you so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?
2 ο θεος μου κεκραξομαι ημερας και ουκ εισακουση και νυκτος και ουκ εις ανοιαν εμοι
ֵלִ֣י אֵ֭לִי לָמָ֣ה עֲזַבְתָּ֑נִי רָח֥וֹק מִֽ֝ישׁוּעָתִ֗י דִּבְרֵ֥י שַׁאֲגָתִֽי׃
O my God, I cry in the day time, but you hear not; and in the night season, and am not silent.
3 συ δε εν αγιοις κατοικεις ο επαινος ισραηλ
ֱ‍ֽלֹהַ֗י אֶקְרָ֣א י֭וֹמָם וְלֹ֣א תַעֲנֶ֑ה וְ֝לַ֗יְלָה וְֽלֹא־דֽוּמִיָּ֥ה לִֽי׃
But you are holy, O you that inhabit the praises of Israel.
4 επι σοι ηλπισαν οι πατερες ημων ηλπισαν και ερρυσω αυτους
ְאַתָּ֥ה קָד֑וֹשׁ י֝וֹשֵׁ֗ב תְּהִלּ֥וֹת יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
Our fathers trusted in you: they trusted, and you did deliver them.
5 προς σε εκεκραξαν και εσωθησαν επι σοι ηλπισαν και ου κατησχυνθησαν
ְּ֭ךָ בָּטְח֣וּ אֲבֹתֵ֑ינוּ בָּ֝טְח֗וּ וַֽתְּפַלְּטֵֽמוֹ׃
They cried unto you, and were delivered: they trusted in you, and were not confounded.
6 εγω δε ειμι σκωληξ και ουκ ανθρωπος ονειδος ανθρωπου και εξουδενημα λαου
ֵלֶ֣יךָ זָעֲק֣וּ וְנִמְלָ֑טוּ בְּךָ֖ בָטְח֣וּ וְלֹא־בֽוֹשׁוּ׃
But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.
7 παντες οι θεωρουντες με εξεμυκτηρισαν με ελαλησαν εν χειλεσιν εκινησαν κεφαλην
ְאָנֹכִ֣י תוֹלַ֣עַת וְלֹא־אִ֑ישׁ חֶרְפַּ֥ת אָ֝דָ֗ם וּבְז֥וּי עָֽם׃
All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,
8 ηλπισεν επι κυριον ρυσασθω αυτον σωσατω αυτον οτι θελει αυτον
ָּל־רֹ֭אַי יַלְעִ֣גוּ לִ֑י יַפְטִ֥ירוּ בְ֝שָׂפָ֗ה יָנִ֥יעוּ רֹֽאשׁ׃
He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.
9 οτι συ ει ο εκσπασας με εκ γαστρος η ελπις μου απο μαστων της μητρος μου
ֹּ֣ל אֶל־יְהוָ֣ה יְפַלְּטֵ֑הוּ יַ֝צִּילֵ֗הוּ כִּ֘י חָ֥פֵֽץ בּֽוֹ׃
But you are he that took me out of the womb: you did make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts.
10 επι σε επερριφην εκ μητρας εκ κοιλιας μητρος μου θεος μου ει συ
ִּֽי־אַתָּ֣ה גֹחִ֣י מִבָּ֑טֶן מַ֝בְטִיחִ֗י עַל־שְׁדֵ֥י אִמִּֽי׃
I was cast upon you from the womb: you are my God from my mother's belly.
11 μη αποστης απ εμου οτι θλιψις εγγυς οτι ουκ εστιν ο βοηθων
ָ֭לֶיךָ הָשְׁלַ֣כְתִּי מֵרָ֑חֶם מִבֶּ֥טֶן אִ֝מִּ֗י אֵ֣לִי אָֽתָּה׃
Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help.
12 περιεκυκλωσαν με μοσχοι πολλοι ταυροι πιονες περιεσχον με
ַל־תִּרְחַ֣ק מִ֭מֶּנִּי כִּי־צָרָ֣ה קְרוֹבָ֑ה כִּי־אֵ֥ין עוֹזֵֽר׃
Many bulls have compassed me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.
13 ηνοιξαν επ εμε το στομα αυτων ως λεων ο αρπαζων και ωρυομενος
ְ֭בָבוּנִי פָּרִ֣ים רַבִּ֑ים אַבִּירֵ֖י בָשָׁ֣ן כִּתְּרֽוּנִי׃
They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion.
14 ωσει υδωρ εξεχυθην και διεσκορπισθη παντα τα οστα μου εγενηθη η καρδια μου ωσει κηρος τηκομενος εν μεσω της κοιλιας μου
ָּצ֣וּ עָלַ֣י פִּיהֶ֑ם אַ֝רְיֵ֗ה טֹרֵ֥ף וְשֹׁאֵֽג׃
I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.
15 εξηρανθη ως οστρακον η ισχυς μου και η γλωσσα μου κεκολληται τω λαρυγγι μου και εις χουν θανατου κατηγαγες με
ַּמַּ֥יִם נִשְׁפַּכְתִּי֮ וְהִתְפָּֽרְד֗וּ כָּֽל־עַצְמ֫וֹתָ֥י הָיָ֣ה לִ֭בִּי כַּדּוֹנָ֑ג נָ֝מֵ֗ס בְּת֣וֹךְ מֵעָֽי׃
My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaves to my jaws; and you have brought me into the dust of death.
16 οτι εκυκλωσαν με κυνες πολλοι συναγωγη πονηρευομενων περιεσχον με ωρυξαν χειρας μου και ποδας
ָ֘בֵ֤שׁ כַּחֶ֨רֶשׂ ׀ כֹּחִ֗י וּ֭לְשׁוֹנִי מֻדְבָּ֣ק מַלְקוֹחָ֑י וְֽלַעֲפַר־מָ֥וֶת תִּשְׁפְּתֵֽנִי׃
For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have enclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.
17 εξηριθμησα παντα τα οστα μου αυτοι δε κατενοησαν και επειδον με
ִּ֥י סְבָב֗וּנִי כְּלָ֫בִ֥ים עֲדַ֣ת מְ֭רֵעִים הִקִּיפ֑וּנִי כָּ֝אֲרִ֗י יָדַ֥י וְרַגְלָֽי׃
I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me.
18 διεμερισαντο τα ιματια μου εαυτοις και επι τον ιματισμον μου εβαλον κληρον
ֲסַפֵּ֥ר כָּל־עַצְמוֹתָ֑י הֵ֥מָּה יַ֝בִּ֗יטוּ יִרְאוּ־בִֽי׃
They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.
19 συ δε κυριε μη μακρυνης την βοηθειαν μου εις την αντιλημψιν μου προσχες
ְחַלְּק֣וּ בְגָדַ֣י לָהֶ֑ם וְעַל־לְ֝בוּשִׁ֗י יַפִּ֥ילוּ גוֹרָֽל׃
But be not you far from me, O LORD: O my strength, haste you to help me.
20 ρυσαι απο ρομφαιας την ψυχην μου και εκ χειρος κυνος την μονογενη μου
ְאַתָּ֣ה יְ֭הוָה אַל־תִּרְחָ֑ק אֱ֝יָלוּתִ֗י לְעֶזְרָ֥תִי חֽוּשָׁה׃
Deliver my soul from the sword; my darling from the power of the dog.
21 σωσον με εκ στοματος λεοντος και απο κερατων μονοκερωτων την ταπεινωσιν μου
ַצִּ֣ילָה מֵחֶ֣רֶב נַפְשִׁ֑י מִיַּד־כֶּ֝֗לֶב יְחִידָתִֽי׃
Save me from the lion's mouth: for you have heard me from the horns of the unicorns.
22 διηγησομαι το ονομα σου τοις αδελφοις μου εν μεσω εκκλησιας υμνησω σε
֭וֹשִׁיעֵנִי מִפִּ֣י אַרְיֵ֑ה וּמִקַּרְנֵ֖י רֵמִ֣ים עֲנִיתָֽנִי׃
I will declare your name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise you.
23 οι φοβουμενοι κυριον αινεσατε αυτον απαν το σπερμα ιακωβ δοξασατε αυτον φοβηθητωσαν αυτον απαν το σπερμα ισραηλ
ֲסַפְּרָ֣ה שִׁמְךָ֣ לְאֶחָ֑י בְּת֖וֹךְ קָהָ֣ל אֲהַלְלֶֽךָּ׃
All of you that fear the LORD, praise him; all you the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him, all you the seed of Israel.
24 οτι ουκ εξουδενωσεν ουδε προσωχθισεν τη δεησει του πτωχου ουδε απεστρεψεν το προσωπον αυτου απ εμου και εν τω κεκραγεναι με προς αυτον εισηκουσεν μου
ִרְאֵ֤י יְהוָ֨ה ׀ הַֽלְל֗וּהוּ כָּל־זֶ֣רַע יַעֲקֹ֣ב כַּבְּד֑וּהוּ וְג֥וּרוּ מִ֝מֶּ֗נּוּ כָּל־זֶ֥רַע יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
For he has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither has he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.
25 παρα σου ο επαινος μου εν εκκλησια μεγαλη τας ευχας μου αποδωσω ενωπιον των φοβουμενων αυτον
ִּ֤י לֹֽא־בָזָ֨ה וְלֹ֪א שִׁקַּ֡ץ עֱנ֬וּת עָנִ֗י וְלֹא־הִסְתִּ֣יר פָּנָ֣יו מִמֶּ֑נּוּ וּֽבְשַׁוְּע֖וֹ אֵלָ֣יו שָׁמֵֽעַ׃
My praise shall be of you in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that fear him.
26 φαγονται πενητες και εμπλησθησονται και αινεσουσιν κυριον οι εκζητουντες αυτον ζησονται αι καρδιαι αυτων εις αιωνα αιωνος
ֵ֥אִתְּךָ֗ תְֽהִלָּ֫תִ֥י בְּקָהָ֥ל רָ֑ב נְדָרַ֥י אֲ֝שַׁלֵּ֗ם נֶ֣גֶד יְרֵאָֽיו׃
The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live for ever.
27 μνησθησονται και επιστραφησονται προς κυριον παντα τα περατα της γης και προσκυνησουσιν ενωπιον σου πασαι αι πατριαι των εθνων
ֹאכְל֬וּ עֲנָוִ֨ים ׀ וְיִשְׂבָּ֗עוּ יְהַֽלְל֣וּ יְ֭הוָה דֹּ֣רְשָׁ֑יו יְחִ֖י לְבַבְכֶ֣ם לָעַֽד׃
All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the families of the nations shall worship before you.
28 οτι του κυριου η βασιλεια και αυτος δεσποζει των εθνων
ִזְכְּר֤וּ ׀ וְיָשֻׁ֣בוּ אֶל־יְ֭הוָה כָּל־אַפְסֵי־אָ֑רֶץ וְיִֽשְׁתַּחֲו֥וּ לְ֝פָנֶ֗יךָ כָּֽל־מִשְׁפְּח֥וֹת גּוֹיִֽם׃
For the kingdom is the LORD's: and he is the governor among the nations.
29 εφαγον και προσεκυνησαν παντες οι πιονες της γης ενωπιον αυτου προπεσουνται παντες οι καταβαινοντες εις την γην και η ψυχη μου αυτω ζη
ִּ֣י לַ֭יהוָה הַמְּלוּכָ֑ה וּ֝מֹשֵׁ֗ל בַּגּוֹיִֽם׃
All they that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul.
30 και το σπερμα μου δουλευσει αυτω αναγγελησεται τω κυριω γενεα η ερχομενη
ָכְל֬וּ וַיִּֽשְׁתַּחֲוּ֨וּ ׀ כָּֽל־דִּשְׁנֵי־אֶ֗רֶץ לְפָנָ֣יו יִ֭כְרְעוּ כָּל־יוֹרְדֵ֣י עָפָ֑ר וְ֝נַפְשׁ֗וֹ לֹ֣א חִיָּֽה׃
A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.
31 και αναγγελουσιν την δικαιοσυνην αυτου λαω τω τεχθησομενω οτι εποιησεν ο κυριος
ֶ֥רַע יַֽעַבְדֶ֑נּוּ יְסֻפַּ֖ר לַֽאדֹנָ֣י לַדּֽוֹר׃
They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he has done this.
