1 ψαλμος τω δαυιδ τετραδι σαββατων ο θεος εκδικησεων κυριος ο θεος εκδικησεων επαρρησιασατο
ֵל־נְקָמ֥וֹת יְהוָ֑ה אֵ֖ל נְקָמ֣וֹת הוֹפִֽיַע׃
O Lord God, to whom vengeance belongs; O God, to whom vengeance belongs, show yourself.
2 υψωθητι ο κρινων την γην αποδος ανταποδοσιν τοις υπερηφανοις
ִ֭נָּשֵׂא שֹׁפֵ֣ט הָאָ֑רֶץ הָשֵׁ֥ב גְּ֝מ֗וּל עַל־גֵּאִֽים׃
Lift up yourself, you judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud.
3 εως ποτε αμαρτωλοι κυριε εως ποτε αμαρτωλοι καυχησονται
ַד־מָתַ֖י רְשָׁעִ֥ים ׀ יְהוָ֑ה עַד־מָ֝תַ֗י רְשָׁעִ֥ים יַעֲלֹֽזוּ׃
LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?
4 φθεγξονται και λαλησουσιν αδικιαν λαλησουσιν παντες οι εργαζομενοι την ανομιαν
ַבִּ֣יעוּ יְדַבְּר֣וּ עָתָ֑ק יִֽ֝תְאַמְּר֗וּ כָּל־פֹּ֥עֲלֵי אָֽוֶן׃
How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?
5 τον λαον σου κυριε εταπεινωσαν και την κληρονομιαν σου εκακωσαν
ַמְּךָ֣ יְהוָ֣ה יְדַכְּא֑וּ וְֽנַחֲלָתְךָ֥ יְעַנּֽוּ׃
They break in pieces your people, O LORD, and afflict yours heritage.
6 χηραν και προσηλυτον απεκτειναν και ορφανους εφονευσαν
ַ֭לְמָנָה וְגֵ֣ר יַהֲרֹ֑גוּ וִֽיתוֹמִ֣ים יְרַצֵּֽחוּ׃
They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.
7 και ειπαν ουκ οψεται κυριος ουδε συνησει ο θεος του ιακωβ
ַ֭יֹּ֣אמְרוּ לֹ֣א יִרְאֶה־יָּ֑הּ וְלֹא־יָ֝בִ֗ין אֱלֹהֵ֥י יַעֲקֹֽב׃
Yet they say, The LORD shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it.
8 συνετε δη αφρονες εν τω λαω και μωροι ποτε φρονησατε
ִּ֭ינוּ בֹּעֲרִ֣ים בָּעָ֑ם וּ֝כְסִילִ֗ים מָתַ֥י תַּשְׂכִּֽילוּ׃
Understand, all of you brutish among the people: and all of you fools, when will all of you be wise?
9 ο φυτευσας το ους ουχι ακουει η ο πλασας τον οφθαλμον ου κατανοει
ֲנֹ֣טַֽע אֹ֭זֶן הֲלֹ֣א יִשְׁמָ֑ע אִֽם־יֹ֥צֵֽר עַ֝֗יִן הֲלֹ֣א יַבִּֽיט׃
He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?
10 ο παιδευων εθνη ουχι ελεγξει ο διδασκων ανθρωπον γνωσιν
ֲיֹסֵ֣ר גּ֭וֹיִם הֲלֹ֣א יוֹכִ֑יחַ הַֽמְלַמֵּ֖ד אָדָ֣ם דָּֽעַת׃
He that chastises the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teaches man knowledge, shall not he know?
11 κυριος γινωσκει τους διαλογισμους των ανθρωπων οτι εισιν ματαιοι
ְֽהוָ֗ה יֹ֭דֵעַ מַחְשְׁב֣וֹת אָדָ֑ם כִּי־הֵ֥מָּה הָֽבֶל׃
The LORD knows the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.
12 μακαριος ανθρωπος ον αν συ παιδευσης κυριε και εκ του νομου σου διδαξης αυτον
ַשְׁרֵ֤י ׀ הַגֶּ֣בֶר אֲשֶׁר־תְּיַסְּרֶ֣נּוּ יָּ֑הּ וּֽמִתּוֹרָתְךָ֥ תְלַמְּדֶֽנּוּ׃
Blessed is the man whom you chasten, O LORD, and teach him out of your law;
13 του πραυναι αυτω αφ ημερων πονηρων εως ου ορυγη τω αμαρτωλω βοθρος
ְהַשְׁקִ֣יט ל֭וֹ מִ֣ימֵי רָ֑ע עַ֤ד יִכָּרֶ֖ה לָרָשָׁ֣ע שָֽׁחַת׃
That you may give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be dug for the wicked.
14 οτι ουκ απωσεται κυριος τον λαον αυτου και την κληρονομιαν αυτου ουκ εγκαταλειψει
ִּ֤י ׀ לֹא־יִטֹּ֣שׁ יְהוָ֣ה עַמּ֑וֹ וְ֝נַחֲלָת֗וֹ לֹ֣א יַעֲזֹֽב׃
For the LORD will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.
15 εως ου δικαιοσυνη επιστρεψη εις κρισιν και εχομενοι αυτης παντες οι ευθεις τη καρδια διαψαλμα
ִּֽי־עַד־צֶ֭דֶק יָשׁ֣וּב מִשְׁפָּ֑ט וְ֝אַחֲרָ֗יו כָּל־יִשְׁרֵי־לֵֽב׃
But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it.
16 τις αναστησεται μοι επι πονηρευομενους η τις συμπαραστησεται μοι επι εργαζομενους την ανομιαν
ִֽי־יָק֣וּם לִ֭י עִם־מְרֵעִ֑ים מִֽי־יִתְיַצֵּ֥ב לִ֝י עִם־פֹּ֥עֲלֵי אָֽוֶן׃
Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?
17 ει μη οτι κυριος εβοηθησεν μοι παρα βραχυ παρωκησεν τω αδη η ψυχη μου
וּלֵ֣י יְ֭הוָה עֶזְרָ֣תָה לִּ֑י כִּמְעַ֓ט ׀ שָֽׁכְנָ֖ה דוּמָ֣ה נַפְשִֽׁי׃
Unless the LORD had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.
18 ει ελεγον σεσαλευται ο πους μου το ελεος σου κυριε βοηθει μοι
ִם־אָ֭מַרְתִּי מָ֣טָה רַגְלִ֑י חַסְדְּךָ֥ יְ֝הוָ֗ה יִסְעָדֵֽנִי׃
When I said, My foot slips; your mercy, O LORD, held me up.
19 κυριε κατα το πληθος των οδυνων μου εν τη καρδια μου αι παρακλησεις σου ηγαπησαν την ψυχην μου
ְּרֹ֣ב שַׂרְעַפַּ֣י בְּקִרְבִּ֑י תַּ֝נְחוּמֶ֗יךָ יְֽשַׁעַשְׁע֥וּ נַפְשִֽׁי׃
In the multitude of my thoughts within me your comforts delight my soul.
20 μη συμπροσεσται σοι θρονος ανομιας ο πλασσων κοπον επι προσταγματι
ַֽ֭יְחָבְרְךָ כִּסֵּ֣א הַוּ֑וֹת יֹצֵ֖ר עָמָ֣ל עֲלֵי־חֹֽק׃
Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with you, which frames mischief by a law?
21 θηρευσουσιν επι ψυχην δικαιου και αιμα αθωον καταδικασονται
ָ֭גוֹדּוּ עַל־נֶ֣פֶשׁ צַדִּ֑יק וְדָ֖ם נָקִ֣י יַרְשִֽׁיעוּ׃
They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.
22 και εγενετο μοι κυριος εις καταφυγην και ο θεος μου εις βοηθον ελπιδος μου
ַיְהִ֬י יְהוָ֣ה לִ֣י לְמִשְׂגָּ֑ב וֵ֝אלֹהַ֗י לְצ֣וּר מַחְסִֽי׃
But the LORD is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge.
23 και αποδωσει αυτοις την ανομιαν αυτων και κατα την πονηριαν αυτων αφανιει αυτους κυριος ο θεος ημων
ַיָּ֤שֶׁב עֲלֵיהֶ֨ם ׀ אֶת־אוֹנָ֗ם וּבְרָעָתָ֥ם יַצְמִיתֵ֑ם יַ֝צְמִיתֵ֗ם יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃
And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the LORD our God shall cut them off.
