| 1 | The Temple Area Restoredκαι εγενετο εν τω πεμπτω και εικοστω ετει της αιχμαλωσιας ημων εν τω πρωτω μηνι δεκατη του μηνος εν τω τεσσαρεσκαιδεκατω ετει μετα το αλωναι την πολιν εν τη ημερα εκεινη εγενετο επ εμε χειρ κυριου και ηγαγεν μεְּעֶשְׂרִ֣ים וְחָמֵ֣שׁ שָׁנָ֣ה לְ֠גָלוּתֵנוּ בְּרֹ֨אשׁ הַשָּׁנָ֜ה בֶּעָשׂ֣וֹר לַחֹ֗דֶשׁ בְּאַרְבַּ֤ע עֶשְׂרֵה֙ שָׁנָ֔ה אַחַ֕ר אֲשֶׁ֥ר הֻכְּתָ֖ה הָעִ֑יר בְּעֶ֣צֶם ׀ הַיּ֣וֹם הַזֶּ֗ה הָיְתָ֤ה עָלַי֙ יַד־יְהוָ֔ה וַיָּבֵ֥א אֹתִ֖י שָֽׁמָּה׃ In the five and twentieth year of our captivity, in the beginning of the year, in the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after that the city was smitten, in the very same day the hand of the LORD was upon me, and brought me thither. |

| 2 | εν ορασει θεου εις την γην του ισραηλ και εθηκεν με επ ορους υψηλου σφοδρα και επ αυτου ωσει οικοδομη πολεως απεναντι ְּמַרְא֣וֹת אֱלֹהִ֔ים הֱבִיאַ֖נִי אֶל־אֶ֣רֶץ יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וַיְנִיחֵ֗נִי אֶל־הַ֤ר גָּבֹ֙הַּ֙ מְאֹ֔ד וְעָלָ֥יו כְּמִבְנֵה־עִ֖יר מִנֶּֽגֶב׃ In the visions of God brought he me into the land of Israel, and set me upon a very high mountain, by which was as the frame of a city on the south. |
| 3 | και εισηγαγεν με εκει και ιδου ανηρ και η ορασις αυτου ην ωσει ορασις χαλκου στιλβοντος και εν τη χειρι αυτου ην σπαρτιον οικοδομων και καλαμος μετρου και αυτος ειστηκει επι της πυλης ַיָּבֵ֨יא אוֹתִ֜י שָׁ֗מָּה וְהִנֵּה־אִישׁ֙ מַרְאֵ֙הוּ֙ כְּמַרְאֵ֣ה נְחֹ֔שֶׁת וּפְתִיל־פִּשְׁתִּ֥ים בְּיָד֖וֹ וּקְנֵ֣ה הַמִּדָּ֑ה וְה֥וּא עֹמֵ֖ד בַּשָּֽׁעַר׃ And he brought me thither, and, behold, there was a man, whose appearance was like the appearance of brass, with a line of flax in his hand, and a measuring reed; and he stood in the gate. |
| 4 | και ειπεν προς με ο ανηρ εωρακας υιε ανθρωπου εν τοις οφθαλμοις σου ιδε και εν τοις ωσιν σου ακουε και ταξον εις την καρδιαν σου παντα οσα εγω δεικνυω σοι διοτι ενεκα του δειξαι σοι εισεληλυθας ωδε και δειξεις παντα οσα συ ορας τω οικω του ισραηλ ַיְדַבֵּ֨ר אֵלַ֜י הָאִ֗ישׁ בֶּן־אָדָ֡ם רְאֵ֣ה בְעֵינֶיךָ֩ וּבְאָזְנֶ֨יךָ שְּׁמָ֜ע וְשִׂ֣ים לִבְּךָ֗ לְכֹ֤ל אֲשֶׁר־אֲנִי֙ מַרְאֶ֣ה אוֹתָ֔ךְ כִּ֛י לְמַ֥עַן הַרְאוֹתְכָ֖ה הֻבָ֣אתָה הֵ֑נָּה הַגֵּ֛ד אֶת־כָּל־אֲשֶׁר־אַתָּ֥ה רֹאֶ֖ה לְבֵ֥ית יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ And the man said unto me, Son of man, behold with yours eyes, and hear with yours ears, and set yours heart upon all that I shall show you; in order to the intent that I might show them unto you are you brought here: declare all that you see to the house of Israel. |
| 5 | The East Gate to the Outer Courtκαι ιδου περιβολος εξωθεν του οικου κυκλω και εν τη χειρι του ανδρος καλαμος το μετρον πηχων εξ εν πηχει και παλαιστης και διεμετρησεν το προτειχισμα πλατος ισον τω καλαμω και το υψος αυτου ισον τω καλαμωְהִנֵּ֥ה חוֹמָ֛ה מִח֥וּץ לַבַּ֖יִת סָבִ֣יב ׀ סָבִ֑יב וּבְיַ֨ד הָאִ֜ישׁ קְנֵ֣ה הַמִּדָּ֗ה שֵׁשׁ־אַמּ֤וֹת בָּֽאַמָּה֙ וָטֹ֔פַח וַיָּ֜מָד אֶת־רֹ֤חַב הַבִּנְיָן֙ קָנֶ֣ה אֶחָ֔ד וְקוֹמָ֖ה קָנֶ֥ה אֶחָֽד׃ And behold a wall on the outside of the house round about, and in the man's hand a measuring reed of six cubits long by the cubit and an hand breadth: so he measured the breadth of the building, one reed; and the height, one reed. |
| 6 | και εισηλθεν εις την πυλην την βλεπουσαν κατα ανατολας εν επτα αναβαθμοις και διεμετρησεν το αιλαμ της πυλης ισον τω καλαμω ַיָּב֗וֹא אֶל־שַׁ֙עַר֙ אֲשֶׁ֤ר פָּנָיו֙ דֶּ֣רֶךְ הַקָּדִ֔ימָה וַיַּ֖עַל *במעלותו **בְּמַֽעֲלוֹתָ֑יו וַיָּ֣מָד ׀ אֶת־סַ֣ף הַשַּׁ֗עַר קָנֶ֤ה אֶחָד֙ רֹ֔חַב וְאֵת֙ סַ֣ף אֶחָ֔ד קָנֶ֥ה אֶחָ֖ד רֹֽחַב׃ Then came he unto the gate which looks toward the east, and went up the stairs thereof, and measured the threshold of the gate, which was one reed broad; and the other threshold of the gate, which was one reed broad. |
| 7 | και το θεε ισον τω καλαμω το μηκος και ισον τω καλαμω το πλατος και το αιλαμ ανα μεσον του θαιηλαθα πηχων εξ και το θεε το δευτερον ισον τω καλαμω το πλατος και ισον τω καλαμω το μηκος και το αιλαμ πηχεων πεντε ְהַתָּ֗א קָנֶ֨ה אֶחָ֥ד אֹ֙רֶךְ֙ וְקָנֶ֤ה אֶחָד֙ רֹ֔חַב וּבֵ֥ין הַתָּאִ֖ים חָמֵ֣שׁ אַמּ֑וֹת וְסַ֣ף הַ֠שַּׁעַר מֵאֵ֨צֶל אוּלָ֥ם הַשַּׁ֛עַר מֵֽהַבַּ֖יִת קָנֶ֥ה אֶחָֽד׃ And every little chamber was one reed long, and one reed broad; and between the little chambers were five cubits; and the threshold of the gate by the porch of the gate within was one reed. |
| 8 | και το θεε το τριτον ισον τω καλαμω το πλατος και ισον τω καλαμω το μηκος ַיָּ֜מָד אֶת־אֻלָ֥ם הַשַּׁ֛עַר מֵהַבַּ֖יִת קָנֶ֥ה אֶחָֽד׃ He measured also the porch of the gate within, one reed. |
| 9 | και το αιλαμ του πυλωνος πλησιον του αιλαμ της πυλης πηχων οκτω και τα αιλευ πηχων δυο και το αιλαμ της πυλης εσωθεν ַיָּ֜מָד אֶת־אֻלָ֤ם הַשַּׁ֙עַר֙ שְׁמֹנֶ֣ה אַמּ֔וֹת *ואילו **וְאֵילָ֖יו שְׁתַּ֣יִם אַמּ֑וֹת וְאֻלָ֥ם הַשַּׁ֖עַר מֵהַבָּֽיִת׃ Then measured he the porch of the gate, eight cubits; and the posts thereof, two cubits; and the porch of the gate was inward. |
| 10 | και τα θεε της πυλης θεε κατεναντι τρεις ενθεν και τρεις ενθεν και μετρον εν τοις τρισιν και μετρον εν τοις αιλαμ ενθεν και ενθεν ְתָאֵ֨י הַשַּׁ֜עַר דֶּ֣רֶךְ הַקָּדִ֗ים שְׁלֹשָׁ֤ה מִפֹּה֙ וּשְׁלֹשָׁ֣ה מִפֹּ֔ה מִדָּ֥ה אַחַ֖ת לִשְׁלָשְׁתָּ֑ם וּמִדָּ֥ה אַחַ֛ת לָאֵילִ֖ם מִפֹּ֥ה וּמִפּֽוֹ׃ And the little chambers of the gate eastward were three on this side, and three on that side; they three were of one measure: and the posts had one measure on this side and on that side. |
| 11 | και διεμετρησεν το πλατος της θυρας του πυλωνος πηχων δεκα και το ευρος του πυλωνος πηχων δεκα τριων ַיָּ֛מָד אֶת־רֹ֥חַב פֶּֽתַח־הַשַּׁ֖עַר עֶ֣שֶׂר אַמּ֑וֹת אֹ֣רֶךְ הַשַּׁ֔עַר שְׁל֥וֹשׁ עֶשְׂרֵ֖ה אַמּֽוֹת׃ And he measured the breadth of the entry of the gate, ten cubits; and the length of the gate, thirteen cubits. |
| 12 | και πηχυς επισυναγομενος επι προσωπον των θειμ ενθεν και ενθεν και το θεε πηχων εξ ενθεν και πηχων εξ ενθεν ּגְב֞וּל לִפְנֵ֤י הַתָּאוֹת֙ אַמָּ֣ה אֶחָ֔ת וְאַמָּה־אַחַ֥ת גְּב֖וּל מִפֹּ֑ה וְהַתָּ֕א שֵׁשׁ־אַמּ֣וֹת מִפּ֔וֹ וְשֵׁ֥שׁ אַמּ֖וֹת מִפּֽוֹ׃ The space also before the little chambers was one cubit on this side, and the space was one cubit on that side: and the little chambers were six cubits on this side, and six cubits on that side. |
| 13 | και διεμετρησεν την πυλην απο του τοιχου του θεε επι τον τοιχον του θεε πλατος πηχεις εικοσι πεντε αυτη πυλη επι πυλην ַיָּ֣מָד אֶת־הַשַּׁ֗עַר מִגַּ֤ג הַתָּא֙ לְגַגּ֔וֹ רֹ֕חַב עֶשְׂרִ֥ים וְחָמֵ֖שׁ אַמּ֑וֹת פֶּ֖תַח נֶ֥גֶד פָּֽתַח׃ He measured then the gate from the roof of one little chamber to the roof of another: the breadth was five and twenty cubits, door against door. |
| 14 | και το αιθριον του αιλαμ της πυλης εξηκοντα πηχεις εικοσι θειμ της πυλης κυκλω ַיַּ֥עַשׂ אֶת־אֵילִ֖ים שִׁשִּׁ֣ים אַמָּ֑ה וְאֶל־אֵיל֙ הֶֽחָצֵ֔ר הַשַּׁ֖עַר סָבִ֥יב ׀ סָבִֽיב׃ He made also posts of threescore cubits, even unto the post of the court round about the gate. |
| 15 | και το αιθριον της πυλης εξωθεν εις το αιθριον αιλαμ της πυλης εσωθεν πηχων πεντηκοντα ְעַ֗ל פְּנֵי֙ הַשַּׁ֣עַר *היאתון **הָֽאִית֔וֹן עַל־לִפְנֵ֕י אֻלָ֥ם הַשַּׁ֖עַר הַפְּנִימִ֑י חֲמִשִּׁ֖ים אַמָּֽה׃ And from the face of the gate of the entrance unto the face of the porch of the inner gate were fifty cubits. |
| 16 | και θυριδες κρυπται επι τα θειμ και επι τα αιλαμ εσωθεν της πυλης της αυλης κυκλοθεν και ωσαυτως τοις αιλαμ θυριδες κυκλω εσωθεν και επι το αιλαμ φοινικες ενθεν και ενθεν ְחַלֹּנ֣וֹת אֲטֻמ֣וֹת אֶֽל־הַתָּאִ֡ים וְאֶל֩ אֵלֵיהֵ֨מָה לִפְנִ֤ימָה לַשַּׁ֙עַר֙ סָבִ֣יב ׀ סָבִ֔יב וְכֵ֖ן לָאֵֽלַמּ֑וֹת וְחַלּוֹנ֞וֹת סָבִ֤יב ׀ סָבִיב֙ לִפְנִ֔ימָה וְאֶל־אַ֖יִל תִּמֹרִֽים׃ And there were narrow windows to the little chambers, and to their posts within the gate round about, and likewise to the arches: and windows were round about inward: and upon each post were palm trees. |
| 17 | The Outer Courtκαι εισηγαγεν με εις την αυλην την εσωτεραν και ιδου παστοφορια και περιστυλα κυκλω της αυλης τριακοντα παστοφορια εν τοις περιστυλοιςַיְבִיאֵ֗נִי אֶל־הֶֽחָצֵר֙ הַחִ֣יצוֹנָ֔ה וְהִנֵּ֤ה לְשָׁכוֹת֙ וְרִֽצְפָ֔ה עָשׂ֥וּי לֶחָצֵ֖ר סָבִ֣יב ׀ סָבִ֑יב שְׁלֹשִׁ֥ים לְשָׁכ֖וֹת אֶל־הָרִֽצְפָֽה׃ Then brought he me into the outward court, and, lo, there were chambers, and a pavement made for the court round about: thirty chambers were upon the pavement. |
| 18 | και αι στοαι κατα νωτου των πυλων κατα το μηκος των πυλων το περιστυλον το υποκατω ְהָרִֽצְפָה֙ אֶל־כֶּ֣תֶף הַשְּׁעָרִ֔ים לְעֻמַּ֖ת אֹ֣רֶךְ הַשְּׁעָרִ֑ים הָרִֽצְפָ֖ה הַתַּחְתּוֹנָֽה׃ And the pavement by the side of the gates opposite to the length of the gates was the lower pavement. |
| 19 | και διεμετρησεν το πλατος της αυλης απο του αιθριου της πυλης της εξωτερας εσωθεν επι το αιθριον της πυλης της βλεπουσης εξω πηχεις εκατον της βλεπουσης κατ ανατολας και εισηγαγεν με επι βορραν ַיָּ֣מָד רֹ֡חַב מִלִּפְנֵי֩ הַשַּׁ֨עַר הַתַּחְתּ֜וֹנָה לִפְנֵ֨י הֶחָצֵ֧ר הַפְּנִימִ֛י מִח֖וּץ מֵאָ֣ה אַמָּ֑ה הַקָּדִ֖ים וְהַצָּפֽוֹן׃ Then he measured the breadth from the forefront of the lower gate unto the forefront of the inner court without, an hundred cubits eastward and northward. |
| 20 | The North Gateκαι ιδου πυλη βλεπουσα προς βορραν τη αυλη τη εξωτερα και διεμετρησεν αυτην το τε μηκος αυτης και το πλατοςְהַשַּׁ֗עַר אֲשֶׁ֤ר פָּנָיו֙ דֶּ֣רֶךְ הַצָּפ֔וֹן לֶחָצֵ֖ר הַחִֽיצוֹנָ֑ה מָדַ֥ד אָרְכּ֖וֹ וְרָחְבּֽוֹ׃ And the gate of the outward court that looked toward the north, he measured the length thereof, and the breadth thereof. |
| 21 | και τα θεε τρεις ενθεν και τρεις ενθεν και τα αιλευ και τα αιλαμμω και τους φοινικας αυτης και εγενετο κατα τα μετρα της πυλης της βλεπουσης κατα ανατολας πηχων πεντηκοντα το μηκος αυτης και πηχων εικοσι πεντε το ευρος αυτης ?תאו **וְתָאָ֗יו שְׁלוֹשָׁ֤ה מִפּוֹ֙ וּשְׁלֹשָׁ֣ה מִפּ֔וֹ *ואילו **וְאֵילָ֤יו *ואלמו **וְאֵֽלַמָּיו֙ הָיָ֔ה כְּמִדַּ֖ת הַשַּׁ֣עַר הָרִאשׁ֑וֹן חֲמִשִּׁ֤ים אַמָּה֙ אָרְכּ֔וֹ וְרֹ֕חַב חָמֵ֥שׁ וְעֶשְׂרִ֖ים בָּאַמָּֽה׃ And the little chambers thereof were three on this side and three on that side; and the posts thereof and the arches thereof were after the measure of the first gate: the length thereof was fifty cubits, and the breadth five and twenty cubits. |
| 22 | και αι θυριδες αυτης και τα αιλαμμω και οι φοινικες αυτης καθως η πυλη η βλεπουσα κατα ανατολας και εν επτα κλιμακτηρσιν ανεβαινον επ αυτην και τα αιλαμμω εσωθεν ?חלונו **וְחַלּוֹנָ֤יו *ואלמו **וְאֵֽלַמָּיו֙ *ותמרו **וְתִ֣מֹרָ֔יו כְּמִדַּ֣ת הַשַּׁ֔עַר אֲשֶׁ֥ר פָּנָ֖יו דֶּ֣רֶךְ הַקָּדִ֑ים וּבְמַעֲל֥וֹת שֶׁ֙בַע֙ יַֽעֲלוּ־ב֔וֹ *ואילמו **וְאֵֽילַמָּ֖יו לִפְנֵיהֶֽם׃ And their windows, and their arches, and their palm trees, were after the measure of the gate that looks toward the east; and they went up unto it by seven steps; and the arches thereof were before them. |
| 23 | και πυλη τη αυλη τη εσωτερα βλεπουσα επι πυλην του βορρα ον τροπον της πυλης της βλεπουσης κατα ανατολας και διεμετρησεν την αυλην απο πυλης επι πυλην πηχεις εκατον ְשַׁ֙עַר֙ לֶחָצֵ֣ר הַפְּנִימִ֔י נֶ֣גֶד הַשַּׁ֔עַר לַצָּפ֖וֹן וְלַקָּדִ֑ים וַיָּ֧מָד מִשַּׁ֛עַר אֶל־שַׁ֖עַר מֵאָ֥ה אַמָּֽה׃ And the gate of the inner court was opposite to the gate toward the north, and toward the east; and he measured from gate to gate an hundred cubits. |
| 24 | The South Gateκαι ηγαγεν με κατα νοτον και ιδου πυλη βλεπουσα προς νοτον και διεμετρησεν αυτην και τα θεε και τα αιλευ και τα αιλαμμω κατα τα μετρα ταυταַיּוֹלִכֵ֙נִי֙ דֶּ֣רֶךְ הַדָּר֔וֹם וְהִנֵּה־שַׁ֖עַר דֶּ֣רֶךְ הַדָּר֑וֹם וּמָדַ֤ד *אילו **אֵילָיו֙ *ואילמו **וְאֵ֣ילַמָּ֔יו כַּמִּדּ֖וֹת הָאֵֽלֶּה׃ After that he brought me toward the south, and behold a gate toward the south: and he measured the posts thereof and the arches thereof according to these measures. |
| 25 | και αι θυριδες αυτης και τα αιλαμμω κυκλοθεν καθως αι θυριδες του αιλαμ πηχων πεντηκοντα το μηκος αυτης και πηχων εικοσι πεντε το ευρος αυτης ְחַלּוֹנִ֨ים ל֤וֹ *ולאילמו **וּלְאֵֽילַמָּיו֙ סָבִ֣יב ׀ סָבִ֔יב כְּהַחֲלֹּנ֖וֹת הָאֵ֑לֶּה חֲמִשִּׁ֤ים אַמָּה֙ אֹ֔רֶךְ וְרֹ֕חַב חָמֵ֥שׁ וְעֶשְׂרִ֖ים אַמָּֽה׃ And there were windows in it and in the arches thereof round about, like those windows: the length was fifty cubits, and the breadth five and twenty cubits. |
| 26 | και επτα κλιμακτηρες αυτη και αιλαμμω εσωθεν και φοινικες αυτη εις ενθεν και εις ενθεν επι τα αιλευ ּמַעֲל֤וֹת שִׁבְעָה֙ *עלותו **עֹֽלוֹתָ֔יו *ואלמו **וְאֵֽלַמָּ֖יו לִפְנֵיהֶ֑ם וְתִמֹרִ֣ים ל֗וֹ אֶחָ֥ד מִפּ֛וֹ וְאֶחָ֥ד מִפּ֖וֹ אֶל־*אילו **אֵילָֽיו׃ And there were seven steps to go up to it, and the arches thereof were before them: and it had palm trees, one on this side, and another on that side, upon the posts thereof. |
| 27 | και πυλη κατεναντι πυλης της αυλης της εσωτερας προς νοτον και διεμετρησεν την αυλην απο πυλης επι πυλην πηχεις εκατον το ευρος προς νοτον ְשַׁ֛עַר לֶחָצֵ֥ר הַפְּנִימִ֖י דֶּ֣רֶךְ הַדָּר֑וֹם וַיָּ֨מָד מִשַּׁ֧עַר אֶל־הַשַּׁ֛עַר דֶּ֥רֶךְ הַדָּר֖וֹם מֵאָ֥ה אַמּֽוֹת׃ And there was a gate in the inner court toward the south: and he measured from gate to gate toward the south an hundred cubits. |
| 28 | The Gates to the Inner Courtκαι εισηγαγεν με εις την αυλην την εσωτεραν της πυλης της προς νοτον και διεμετρησεν την πυλην κατα τα μετρα ταυταַיְבִיאֵ֛נִי אֶל־חָצֵ֥ר הַפְּנִימִ֖י בְּשַׁ֣עַר הַדָּר֑וֹם וַיָּ֙מָד֙ אֶת־הַשַּׁ֣עַר הַדָּר֔וֹם כַּמִּדּ֖וֹת הָאֵֽלֶּה׃ And he brought me to the inner court by the south gate: and he measured the south gate according to these measures; |
| 29 | και τα θεε και τα αιλευ και τα αιλαμμω κατα τα μετρα ταυτα και θυριδες αυτη και τω αιλαμμω κυκλω πηχεις πεντηκοντα το μηκος αυτης και το ευρος πηχεις εικοσι πεντε ?תאו **וְתָאָ֞יו *ואילו **וְאֵילָ֤יו *ואלמו **וְאֵֽלַמָּיו֙ כַּמִּדּ֣וֹת הָאֵ֔לֶּה וְחַלּוֹנ֥וֹת ל֛וֹ *ולאלמו **וּלְאֵלַמָּ֖יו סָבִ֣יב ׀ סָבִ֑יב חֲמִשִּׁ֤ים אַמָּה֙ אֹ֔רֶךְ וְרֹ֕חַב עֶשְׂרִ֥ים וְחָמֵ֖שׁ אַמּֽוֹת׃ And the little chambers thereof, and the posts thereof, and the arches thereof, according to these measures: and there were windows in it and in the arches thereof round about: it was fifty cubits long, and five and twenty cubits broad. |
| 30 | ְאֵֽלַמּ֖וֹת סָבִ֣יב ׀ סָבִ֑יב אֹ֗רֶךְ חָמֵ֤שׁ וְעֶשְׂרִים֙ אַמָּ֔ה וְרֹ֖חַב חָמֵ֥שׁ אַמּֽוֹת׃ And the arches round about were five and twenty cubits long, and five cubits broad. |
| 31 | και αιλαμμω εις την αυλην την εξωτεραν και φοινικες τω αιλευ και οκτω κλιμακτηρες ְאֵלַמָּ֗ו אֶל־חָצֵר֙ הַחִ֣צוֹנָ֔ה וְתִמֹרִ֖ים אֶל־*אילו **אֵילָ֑יו וּמַעֲל֥וֹת שְׁמוֹנֶ֖ה *מעלו **מַעֲלָֽיו׃ And the arches thereof were toward the utter court; and palm trees were upon the posts thereof: and the going up to it had eight steps. |
| 32 | και εισηγαγεν με εις την πυλην την βλεπουσαν κατα ανατολας και διεμετρησεν αυτην κατα τα μετρα ταυτα ַיְבִיאֵ֛נִי אֶל־הֶחָצֵ֥ר הַפְּנִימִ֖י דֶּ֣רֶךְ הַקָּדִ֑ים וַיָּ֣מָד אֶת־הַשַּׁ֔עַר כַּמִּדּ֖וֹת הָאֵֽלֶּה׃ And he brought me into the inner court toward the east: and he measured the gate according to these measures. |
| 33 | και τα θεε και τα αιλευ και τα αιλαμμω κατα τα μετρα ταυτα και θυριδες αυτη και τω αιλαμμω κυκλω πηχεις πεντηκοντα μηκος αυτης και ευρος πηχεις εικοσι πεντε ?תאו **וְתָאָ֞יו *ואלו **וְאֵלָ֤יו *ואלמו **וְאֵֽלַמָּיו֙ כַּמִּדּ֣וֹת הָאֵ֔לֶּה וְחַלּוֹנ֥וֹת ל֛וֹ *ולאלמו **וּלְאֵלַמָּ֖יו סָבִ֣יב ׀ סָבִ֑יב אֹ֚רֶךְ חֲמִשִּׁ֣ים אַמָּ֔ה וְרֹ֕חַב חָמֵ֥שׁ וְעֶשְׂרִ֖ים אַמָּֽה׃ And the little chambers thereof, and the posts thereof, and the arches thereof, were according to these measures: and there were windows therein and in the arches thereof round about: it was fifty cubits long, and five and twenty cubits broad. |
| 34 | και αιλαμμω εις την αυλην την εσωτεραν και φοινικες επι του αιλευ ενθεν και ενθεν και οκτω κλιμακτηρες αυτη ?אלמו **וְאֵלַמָּ֗יו לֶֽחָצֵר֙ הַחִ֣יצוֹנָ֔ה וְתִמֹרִ֥ים אֶל־*אלו **אֵלָ֖יו מִפּ֣וֹ וּמִפּ֑וֹ וּשְׁמֹנֶ֥ה מַעֲל֖וֹת *מעלו **מַעֲלָֽיו׃ And the arches thereof were toward the outward court; and palm trees were upon the posts thereof, on this side, and on that side: and the going up to it had eight steps. |
| 35 | και εισηγαγεν με εις την πυλην την προς βορραν και διεμετρησεν κατα τα μετρα ταυτα ַיְבִיאֵ֖נִי אֶל־שַׁ֣עַר הַצָּפ֑וֹן וּמָדַ֖ד כַּמִּדּ֥וֹת הָאֵֽלֶּה׃ And he brought me to the north gate, and measured it according to these measures; |
| 36 | και τα θεε και τα αιλευ και τα αιλαμμω και θυριδες αυτη κυκλω και τω αιλαμμω αυτης πηχεις πεντηκοντα μηκος αυτης και ευρος πηχεις εικοσι πεντε ?או **תָּאָיו֙ *אלו **אֵלָ֣יו *ואלמו **וְאֽ͏ֵלַמָּ֔יו וְחַלּוֹנ֥וֹת ל֖וֹ סָבִ֣יב ׀ סָבִ֑יב אֹ֚רֶךְ חֲמִשִּׁ֣ים אַמָּ֔ה וְרֹ֕חַב חָמֵ֥שׁ וְעֶשְׂרִ֖ים אַמָּֽה׃ The little chambers thereof, the posts thereof, and the arches thereof, and the windows to it round about: the length was fifty cubits, and the breadth five and twenty cubits. |
| 37 | και τα αιλαμμω εις την αυλην την εξωτεραν και φοινικες τω αιλευ ενθεν και ενθεν και οκτω κλιμακτηρες αυτη ?אילו **וְאֵילָ֗יו לֶֽחָצֵר֙ הַחִ֣יצוֹנָ֔ה וְתִמֹרִ֥ים אֶל־*אילו **אֵילָ֖יו מִפּ֣וֹ וּמִפּ֑וֹ וּשְׁמֹנֶ֥ה מַעֲל֖וֹת *מעלו **מַעֲלָֽיו׃ And the posts thereof were toward the utter court; and palm trees were upon the posts thereof, on this side, and on that side: and the going up to it had eight steps. |
| 38 | The Rooms for Preparing Sacrificesτα παστοφορια αυτης και τα θυρωματα αυτης και τα αιλαμμω αυτης επι της πυληςְלִשְׁכָּ֣ה וּפִתְחָ֔הּ בְּאֵילִ֖ים הַשְּׁעָרִ֑ים שָׁ֖ם יָדִ֥יחוּ אֶת־הָעֹלָֽה׃ And the chambers and the entries thereof were by the posts of the gates, where they washed the burnt offering. |
| 39 | της δευτερας εκρυσις οπως σφαζωσιν εν αυτη τα υπερ αμαρτιας και υπερ αγνοιας ּבְאֻלָ֣ם הַשַּׁ֗עַר שְׁנַ֤יִם שֻׁלְחָנוֹת֙ מִפּ֔וֹ וּשְׁנַ֥יִם שֻׁלְחָנ֖וֹת מִפֹּ֑ה לִשְׁח֤וֹט אֲלֵיהֶם֙ הָעוֹלָ֔ה וְהַחַטָּ֖את וְהָאָשָֽׁם׃ And in the porch of the gate were two tables on this side, and two tables on that side, to slay thereon the burnt offering and the sin offering and the trespass offering. |
| 40 | και κατα νωτου του ροακος των ολοκαυτωματων της βλεπουσης προς βορραν δυο τραπεζαι προς ανατολας και κατα νωτου της δευτερας και του αιλαμ της πυλης δυο τραπεζαι κατα ανατολας ְאֶל־הַכָּתֵ֣ף מִח֗וּצָה לָעוֹלֶה֙ לְפֶ֙תַח֙ הַשַּׁ֣עַר הַצָּפ֔וֹנָה שְׁנַ֖יִם שֻׁלְחָנ֑וֹת וְאֶל־הַכָּתֵ֣ף הָאַחֶ֗רֶת אֲשֶׁר֙ לְאֻלָ֣ם הַשַּׁ֔עַר שְׁנַ֖יִם שֻׁלְחָנֽוֹת׃ And at the side without, as one goes up to the entry of the north gate, were two tables; and on the other side, which was at the porch of the gate, were two tables. |
| 41 | τεσσαρες ενθεν και τεσσαρες ενθεν κατα νωτου της πυλης επ αυτας σφαξουσι τα θυματα κατεναντι των οκτω τραπεζων των θυματων ַרְבָּעָ֨ה שֻׁלְחָנ֜וֹת מִפֹּ֗ה וְאַרְבָּעָ֧ה שֻׁלְחָנ֛וֹת מִפֹּ֖ה לְכֶ֣תֶף הַשָּׁ֑עַר שְׁמוֹנָ֥ה שֻׁלְחָנ֖וֹת אֲלֵיהֶ֥ם יִשְׁחָֽטוּ׃ Four tables were on this side, and four tables on that side, by the side of the gate; eight tables, whereupon they slew their sacrifices. |
| 42 | και τεσσαρες τραπεζαι των ολοκαυτωματων λιθιναι λελαξευμεναι πηχεος και ημισους το πλατος και πηχεων δυο και ημισους το μηκος και επι πηχυν το υψος επ αυτας επιθησουσιν τα σκευη εν οις σφαζουσιν εκει τα ολοκαυτωματα και τα θυματα ְאַרְבָּעָה֩ שֻׁלְחָנ֨וֹת לָעוֹלָ֜ה אַבְנֵ֣י גָזִ֗ית אֹרֶךְ֩ אַמָּ֨ה אַחַ֤ת וָחֵ֙צִי֙ וְרֹ֨חַב אַמָּ֤ה אַחַת֙ וָחֵ֔צִי וְגֹ֖בַהּ אַמָּ֣ה אֶחָ֑ת אֲלֵיהֶ֗ם וְיַנִּ֤יחוּ אֶת־הַכֵּלִים֙ אֲשֶׁ֨ר יִשְׁחֲט֧וּ אֶת־הָעוֹלָ֛ה בָּ֖ם וְהַזָּֽבַח׃ And the four tables were of hewn stone for the burnt offering, of a cubit and an half long, and a cubit and an half broad, and one cubit high: whereupon also they laid the instruments wherewith they slew the burnt offering and the sacrifice. |
| 43 | και παλαιστην εξουσιν γεισος λελαξευμενον εσωθεν κυκλω και επι τας τραπεζας επανωθεν στεγας του καλυπτεσθαι απο του υετου και απο της ξηρασιας ְהַֽשְׁפַתַּ֗יִם טֹ֧פַח אֶחָ֛ד מוּכָנִ֥ים בַּבַּ֖יִת סָבִ֣יב ׀ סָבִ֑יב וְאֶל־הַשֻּׁלְחָנ֖וֹת בְּשַׂ֥ר הַקָּרְבָֽן׃ And within were hooks, an hand broad, fastened round about: and upon the tables was the flesh of the offering. |
| 44 | The Rooms for the Priestsκαι εισηγαγεν με εις την αυλην την εσωτεραν και ιδου δυο εξεδραι εν τη αυλη τη εσωτερα μια κατα νωτου της πυλης της βλεπουσης προς βορραν φερουσα προς νοτον και μια κατα νωτου της πυλης της προς νοτον βλεπουσης δε προς βορρανּמִחוּצָה֩ לַשַּׁ֨עַר הַפְּנִימִ֜י לִֽשְׁכ֣וֹת שָׁרִ֗ים בֶּחָצֵ֤ר הַפְּנִימִי֙ אֲשֶׁ֗ר אֶל־כֶּ֙תֶף֙ שַׁ֣עַר הַצָּפ֔וֹן וּפְנֵיהֶ֖ם דֶּ֣רֶךְ הַדָּר֑וֹם אֶחָ֗ד אֶל־כֶּ֙תֶף֙ שַׁ֣עַר הַקָּדִ֔ים פְּנֵ֖י דֶּ֥רֶךְ הַצָּפֹֽן׃ And without the inner gate were the chambers of the singers in the inner court, which was at the side of the north gate; and their prospect was toward the south: one at the side of the east gate having the prospect toward the north. |
| 45 | και ειπεν προς με η εξεδρα αυτη η βλεπουσα προς νοτον τοις ιερευσι τοις φυλασσουσι την φυλακην του οικου ַיְדַבֵּ֖ר אֵלָ֑י זֹ֣ה הַלִּשְׁכָּ֗ה אֲשֶׁ֤ר פָּנֶ֙יהָ֙ דֶּ֣רֶךְ הַדָּר֔וֹם לַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים שֹׁמְרֵ֖י מִשְׁמֶ֥רֶת הַבָּֽיִת׃ And he said unto me, This chamber, whose prospect is toward the south, is for the priests, the keepers of the charge of the house. |
| 46 | και η εξεδρα η βλεπουσα προς βορραν τοις ιερευσι τοις φυλασσουσι την φυλακην του θυσιαστηριου εκεινοι εισιν οι υιοι σαδδουκ οι εγγιζοντες εκ του λευι προς κυριον λειτουργειν αυτω ְהַלִּשְׁכָּ֗ה אֲשֶׁ֤ר פָּנֶ֙יהָ֙ דֶּ֣רֶךְ הַצָּפ֔וֹן לַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים שֹׁמְרֵ֖י מִשְׁמֶ֣רֶת הַמִּזְבֵּ֑חַ הֵ֣מָּה בְנֵֽי־צָד֗וֹק הַקְּרֵבִ֧ים מִבְּנֵֽי־לֵוִ֛י אֶל־יְהוָ֖ה לְשָׁרְתֽוֹ׃ And the chamber whose prospect is toward the north is for the priests, the keepers of the charge of the altar: these are the sons of Zadok among the sons of Levi, which come near to the LORD to minister unto him. |
| 47 | και διεμετρησεν την αυλην μηκος πηχεων εκατον και ευρος πηχεων εκατον επι τα τεσσαρα μερη αυτης και το θυσιαστηριον απεναντι του οικου ַיָּ֨מָד אֶת־הֶחָצֵ֜ר אֹ֣רֶךְ ׀ מֵאָ֣ה אַמָּ֗ה וְרֹ֛חַב מֵאָ֥ה אַמָּ֖ה מְרֻבָּ֑עַת וְהַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ לִפְנֵ֥י הַבָּֽיִת׃ So he measured the court, an hundred cubits long, and an hundred cubits broad, foursquare; and the altar that was before the house. |
| 48 | και εισηγαγεν με εις το αιλαμ του οικου και διεμετρησεν το αιλ του αιλαμ πηχων πεντε το πλατος ενθεν και πηχων πεντε ενθεν και το ευρος του θυρωματος πηχων δεκα τεσσαρων και επωμιδες της θυρας του αιλαμ πηχων τριων ενθεν και πηχων τριων ενθεν ַיְבִאֵנִי֮ אֶל־אֻלָ֣ם הַבַּיִת֒ וַיָּ֙מָד֙ אֵ֣ל אֻלָ֔ם חָמֵ֤שׁ אַמּוֹת֙ מִפֹּ֔ה וְחָמֵ֥שׁ אַמּ֖וֹת מִפֹּ֑ה וְרֹ֣חַב הַשַּׁ֔עַר שָׁלֹ֤שׁ אַמּוֹת֙ מִפּ֔וֹ וְשָׁלֹ֥שׁ אַמּ֖וֹת מִפּֽוֹ׃ And he brought me to the porch of the house, and measured each post of the porch, five cubits on this side, and five cubits on that side: and the breadth of the gate was three cubits on this side, and three cubits on that side. |
| 49 | και το μηκος του αιλαμ πηχων εικοσι και το ευρος πηχων δωδεκα και επι δεκα αναβαθμων ανεβαινον επ αυτο και στυλοι ησαν επι το αιλαμ εις ενθεν και εις ενθεν ֹ֣רֶךְ הָאֻלָ֞ם עֶשְׂרִ֣ים אַמָּ֗ה וְרֹ֙חַב֙ עַשְׁתֵּ֣י עֶשְׂרֵ֣ה אַמָּ֔ה וּבַֽמַּעֲל֔וֹת אֲשֶׁ֥ר יַעֲל֖וּ אֵלָ֑יו וְעַמֻּדִים֙ אֶל־הָ֣אֵילִ֔ים אֶחָ֥ד מִפֹּ֖ה וְאֶחָ֥ד מִפֹּֽה׃ The length of the porch was twenty cubits, and the breadth eleven cubits, and he brought me by the steps whereby they went up to it: and there were pillars by the posts, one on this side, and another on that side. |
