| 1 | The New Templeκαι εισηγαγεν με εις τον ναον ω διεμετρησεν το αιλαμ πηχων εξ το πλατος ενθεν και πηχων εξ το ευρος του αιλαμ ενθενַיְבִיאֵ֖נִי אֶל־הַהֵיכָ֑ל וַיָּ֣מָד אֶת־הָאֵילִ֗ים שֵׁשׁ־אַמּ֨וֹת רֹ֧חַב־מִפּ֛וֹ וְשֵׁשׁ־אַמּֽוֹת־רֹ֥חַב מִפּ֖וֹ רֹ֥חַב הָאֹֽהֶל׃ Afterward he brought me to the temple, and measured the posts, six cubits broad on the one side, and six cubits broad on the other side, which was the breadth of the tabernacle. |

| 2 | και το ευρος του πυλωνος πηχων δεκα και επωμιδες του πυλωνος πηχων πεντε ενθεν και πηχων πεντε ενθεν και διεμετρησεν το μηκος αυτου πηχων τεσσαρακοντα και το ευρος πηχων εικοσι ְרֹ֣חַב הַפֶּתַח֮ עֶ֣שֶׂר אַמּוֹת֒ וְכִתְפ֣וֹת הַפֶּ֔תַח חָמֵ֤שׁ אַמּוֹת֙ מִפּ֔וֹ וְחָמֵ֥שׁ אַמּ֖וֹת מִפּ֑וֹ וַיָּ֤מָד אָרְכּוֹ֙ אַרְבָּעִ֣ים אַמָּ֔ה וְרֹ֖חַב עֶשְׂרִ֥ים אַמָּֽה׃ And the breadth of the door was ten cubits; and the sides of the door were five cubits on the one side, and five cubits on the other side: and he measured the length thereof, forty cubits: and the breadth, twenty cubits. |
| 3 | και εισηλθεν εις την αυλην την εσωτεραν και διεμετρησεν το αιλ του θυρωματος πηχων δυο και το θυρωμα πηχων εξ και τας επωμιδας του θυρωματος πηχων επτα ενθεν και πηχων επτα ενθεν ּבָ֣א לִפְנִ֔ימָה וַיָּ֥מָד אֵֽיל־הַפֶּ֖תַח שְׁתַּ֣יִם אַמּ֑וֹת וְהַפֶּ֙תַח֙ שֵׁ֣שׁ אַמּ֔וֹת וְרֹ֥חַב הַפֶּ֖תַח שֶׁ֥בַע אַמּֽוֹת׃ Then went he inward, and measured the post of the door, two cubits; and the door, six cubits; and the breadth of the door, seven cubits. |
| 4 | και διεμετρησεν το μηκος των θυρων πηχων τεσσαρακοντα και ευρος πηχων εικοσι κατα προσωπον του ναου και ειπεν τουτο το αγιον των αγιων ַיָּ֨מָד אֶת־אָרְכּ֜וֹ עֶשְׂרִ֣ים אַמָּ֗ה וְרֹ֛חַב עֶשְׂרִ֥ים אַמָּ֖ה אֶל־פְּנֵ֣י הַֽהֵיכָ֑ל וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלַ֔י זֶ֖ה קֹ֥דֶשׁ הַקֳּדָשִֽׁים׃ So he measured the length thereof, twenty cubits; and the breadth, twenty cubits, before the temple: and he said unto me, This is the most holy place. |
| 5 | και διεμετρησεν τον τοιχον του οικου πηχων εξ και το ευρος της πλευρας πηχων τεσσαρων κυκλοθεν ַיָּ֥מָד קִֽיר־הַבַּ֖יִת שֵׁ֣שׁ אַמּ֑וֹת וְרֹ֣חַב הַצֵּלָע֩ אַרְבַּ֨ע אַמּ֜וֹת סָבִ֧יב ׀ סָבִ֛יב לַבַּ֖יִת סָבִֽיב׃ After he measured the wall of the house, six cubits; and the breadth of every side chamber, four cubits, round about the house on every side. |
| 6 | και τα πλευρα πλευρον επι πλευρον τριακοντα και τρεις δις και διαστημα εν τω τοιχω του οικου εν τοις πλευροις κυκλω του ειναι τοις επιλαμβανομενοις οραν οπως το παραπαν μη απτωνται των τοιχων του οικου ְהַצְּלָעוֹת֩ צֵלָ֨ע אֶל־צֵלָ֜ע שָׁל֧וֹשׁ וּשְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים פְּעָמִ֗ים וּ֠בָאוֹת בַּקִּ֨יר אֲשֶׁר־לַבַּ֧יִת לַצְּלָע֛וֹת סָבִ֥יב ׀ סָבִ֖יב לִהְי֣וֹת אֲחוּזִ֑ים וְלֹֽא־יִהְי֥וּ אֲחוּזִ֖ים בְּקִ֥יר הַבָּֽיִת׃ And the side chambers were three, one over another, and thirty in order; and they entered into the wall which was of the house for the side chambers round about, that they might have hold, but they had not hold in the wall of the house. |
| 7 | και το ευρος της ανωτερας των πλευρων κατα το προσθεμα εκ του τοιχου προς την ανωτεραν κυκλω του οικου οπως διαπλατυνηται ανωθεν και εκ των κατωθεν αναβαινωσιν επι τα υπερωα και εκ των μεσων επι τα τριωροφα ְֽרָחֲבָ֡ה וְֽנָסְבָה֩ לְמַ֨עְלָה לְמַ֜עְלָה לַצְּלָע֗וֹת כִּ֣י מֽוּסַב־הַ֠בַּיִת לְמַ֨עְלָה לְמַ֜עְלָה סָבִ֤יב ׀ סָבִיב֙ לַבַּ֔יִת עַל־כֵּ֥ן רֹֽחַב־לַבַּ֖יִת לְמָ֑עְלָה וְכֵ֧ן הַתַּחְתּוֹנָ֛ה יַעֲלֶ֥ה עַל־הָעֶלְיוֹנָ֖ה לַתִּיכוֹנָֽה׃ And there was an enlarging, and a winding about still upward to the side chambers: for the winding about of the house went still upward round about the house: therefore the breadth of the house was still upward, and so increased from the low chamber to the highest by the midst. |
| 8 | και το θραελ του οικου υψος κυκλω διαστημα των πλευρων ισον τω καλαμω πηχεων εξ διαστημα ְרָאִ֧יתִי לַבַּ֛יִת גֹּ֖בַהּ סָבִ֣יב ׀ סָבִ֑יב *מיסדות **מוּסְד֤וֹת הַצְּלָעוֹת֙ מְל֣וֹ הַקָּנֶ֔ה שֵׁ֥שׁ אַמּ֖וֹת אַצִּֽילָה׃ I saw also the height of the house round about: the foundations of the side chambers were a full reed of six great cubits. |
| 9 | και ευρος του τοιχου της πλευρας εξωθεν πηχων πεντε και τα απολοιπα ανα μεσον των πλευρων του οικου ֹ֣חַב הַקִּ֧יר אֲֽשֶׁר־לַצֵּלָ֛ע אֶל־הַח֖וּץ חָמֵ֣שׁ אַמּ֑וֹת וַאֲשֶׁ֣ר מֻנָּ֔ח בֵּ֥ית צְלָע֖וֹת אֲשֶׁ֥ר לַבָּֽיִת׃ The thickness of the wall, which was for the side chamber without, was five cubits: and that which was left was the place of the side chambers that were within. |
| 10 | και ανα μεσον των εξεδρων ευρος πηχων εικοσι το περιφερες τω οικω κυκλω ּבֵ֨ין הַלְּשָׁכ֜וֹת רֹ֣חַב עֶשְׂרִ֥ים אַמָּ֛ה סָבִ֥יב לַבַּ֖יִת סָבִ֥יב ׀ סָבִֽיב׃ And between the chambers was the wideness of twenty cubits round about the house on every side. |
| 11 | και αι θυραι των εξεδρων επι το απολοιπον της θυρας της μιας της προς βορραν και η θυρα η μια προς νοτον και το ευρος του φωτος του απολοιπου πηχων πεντε πλατος κυκλοθεν ּפֶ֤תַח הַצֵּלָע֙ לַמֻּנָּ֔ח פֶּ֤תַח אֶחָד֙ דֶּ֣רֶךְ הַצָּפ֔וֹן וּפֶ֥תַח אֶחָ֖ד לַדָּר֑וֹם וְרֹ֙חַב֙ מְק֣וֹם הַמֻּנָּ֔ח חָמֵ֥שׁ אַמּ֖וֹת סָבִ֥יב ׀ סָבִֽיב׃ And the doors of the side chambers were toward the place that was left, one door toward the north, and another door toward the south: and the breadth of the place that was left was five cubits round about. |
| 12 | και το διοριζον κατα προσωπον του απολοιπου ως προς θαλασσαν πηχων εβδομηκοντα πλατος του τοιχου του διοριζοντος πηχεων πεντε ευρος κυκλοθεν και μηκος αυτου πηχεων ενενηκοντα ְהַבִּנְיָ֡ן אֲשֶׁר֩ אֶל־פְּנֵ֨י הַגִּזְרָ֜ה פְּאַ֣ת דֶּֽרֶךְ־הַיָּ֗ם רֹ֚חַב שִׁבְעִ֣ים אַמָּ֔ה וְקִ֧יר הַבִּנְיָ֛ן חָֽמֵשׁ־אַמּ֥וֹת רֹ֖חַב סָבִ֣יב ׀ סָבִ֑יב וְאָרְכּ֖וֹ תִּשְׁעִ֥ים אַמָּֽה׃ Now the building that was before the separate place at the end toward the west was seventy cubits broad; and the wall of the building was five cubits thick round about, and the length thereof ninety cubits. |
| 13 | και διεμετρησεν κατεναντι του οικου μηκος πηχων εκατον και τα απολοιπα και τα διοριζοντα και οι τοιχοι αυτων μηκος πηχων εκατον ּמָדַ֣ד אֶת־הַבַּ֔יִת אֹ֖רֶךְ מֵאָ֣ה אַמָּ֑ה וְהַגִּזְרָ֤ה וְהַבִּנְיָה֙ וְקִ֣ירוֹתֶ֔יהָ אֹ֖רֶךְ מֵאָ֥ה אַמָּֽה׃ So he measured the house, an hundred cubits long; and the separate place, and the building, with the walls thereof, an hundred cubits long; |
| 14 | και το ευρος κατα προσωπον του οικου και τα απολοιπα κατεναντι πηχων εκατον ְרֹחַב֩ פְּנֵ֨י הַבַּ֧יִת וְהַגִּזְרָ֛ה לַקָּדִ֖ים מֵאָ֥ה אַמָּֽה׃ Also the breadth of the face of the house, and of the separate place toward the east, an hundred cubits. |
| 15 | και διεμετρησεν μηκος του διοριζοντος κατα προσωπον του απολοιπου των κατοπισθεν του οικου εκεινου και τα απολοιπα ενθεν και ενθεν πηχεων εκατον το μηκος και ο ναος και αι γωνιαι και το αιλαμ το εξωτερον ּמָדַ֣ד אֹֽרֶךְ־הַ֠בִּנְיָן אֶל־פְּנֵ֨י הַגִּזְרָ֜ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר עַל־אַחֲרֶ֧יהָ *ואתוקיהא **וְאַתִּיקֶ֛יהָא מִפּ֥וֹ וּמִפּ֖וֹ מֵאָ֣ה אַמָּ֑ה וְהַֽהֵיכָל֙ הַפְּנִימִ֔י וְאֻֽלַמֵּ֖י הֶחָצֵֽר׃ And he measured the length of the building opposite to the separate place which was behind it, and the galleries thereof on the one side and on the other side, an hundred cubits, with the inner temple, and the porches of the court; |
| 16 | πεφατνωμενα και αι θυριδες δικτυωται υποφαυσεις κυκλω τοις τρισιν ωστε διακυπτειν και ο οικος και τα πλησιον εξυλωμενα κυκλω και το εδαφος και εκ του εδαφους εως των θυριδων και αι θυριδες αναπτυσσομεναι τρισσως εις το διακυπτειν ַסִּפִּ֡ים וְהַחַלּוֹנִ֣ים הָ֠אֲטֻמוֹת וְהָאַתִּיקִ֤ים ׀ סָבִיב֙ לִשְׁלָשְׁתָּ֔ם נֶ֧גֶד הַסַּ֛ף שְׂחִ֥יף עֵ֖ץ סָבִ֣יב ׀ סָבִ֑יב וְהָאָ֙רֶץ֙ עַד־הַֽחַלֹּנ֔וֹת וְהַֽחַלֹּנ֖וֹת מְכֻסּֽוֹת׃ The door posts, and the narrow windows, and the galleries round about on their three stories, opposite to the door, covered over with wood round about, and from the ground up to the windows, and the windows were covered; |
| 17 | και εως πλησιον της εσωτερας και εως της εξωτερας και εφ ολον τον τοιχον κυκλω εν τω εσωθεν και εν τω εξωθεν ַל־מֵעַ֣ל הַפֶּ֡תַח וְעַד־הַבַּיִת֩ הַפְּנִימִ֨י וְלַח֜וּץ וְאֶל־כָּל־הַקִּ֨יר סָבִ֧יב ׀ סָבִ֛יב בַּפְּנִימִ֥י וּבַחִיצ֖וֹן מִדּֽוֹת׃ To that above the door, even unto the inner house, and without, and by all the wall round about within and without, by measure. |
| 18 | γεγλυμμενα χερουβιν και φοινικες ανα μεσον χερουβ και χερουβ δυο προσωπα τω χερουβ ְעָשׂ֥וּי כְּרוּבִ֖ים וְתִֽמֹרִ֑ים וְתִֽמֹרָה֙ בֵּין־כְּר֣וּב לִכְר֔וּב וּשְׁנַ֥יִם פָּנִ֖ים לַכְּרֽוּב׃ And it was made with cherubims and palm trees, so that a palm tree was between a cherub and a cherub; and every cherub had two faces; |
| 19 | προσωπον ανθρωπου προς τον φοινικα ενθεν και ενθεν και προσωπον λεοντος προς τον φοινικα ενθεν και ενθεν διαγεγλυμμενος ολος ο οικος κυκλοθεν ּפְנֵ֨י אָדָ֤ם אֶל־הַתִּֽמֹרָה֙ מִפּ֔וֹ וּפְנֵֽי־כְפִ֥יר אֶל־הַתִּֽמֹרָ֖ה מִפּ֑וֹ עָשׂ֥וּי אֶל־כָּל־הַבַּ֖יִת סָבִ֥יב ׀ סָבִֽיב׃ So that the face of a man was toward the palm tree on the one side, and the face of a young lion toward the palm tree on the other side: it was made through all the house round about. |
| 20 | εκ του εδαφους εως του φατνωματος τα χερουβιν και οι φοινικες διαγεγλυμμενοι ֵהָאָ֙רֶץ֙ עַד־מֵעַ֣ל הַפֶּ֔תַח הַכְּרוּבִ֥ים וְהַתִּֽמֹרִ֖ים עֲשׂוּיִ֑ם וְקִ֖יר הַׄהֵׄיׄכָֽׄלׄ׃[4] From the ground unto above the door were cherubims and palm trees made, and on the wall of the temple. |
| 21 | και το αγιον και ο ναος αναπτυσσομενος τετραγωνα κατα προσωπον των αγιων ορασις ως οψις ַֽהֵיכָ֖ל מְזוּזַ֣ת רְבֻעָ֑ה וּפְנֵ֣י הַקֹּ֔דֶשׁ הַמַּרְאֶ֖ה כַּמַּרְאֶֽה׃ The posts of the temple were squared, and the face of the sanctuary; the appearance of the one as the appearance of the other. |
| 22 | θυσιαστηριου ξυλινου πηχων τριων το υψος αυτου και το μηκος πηχων δυο και το ευρος πηχων δυο και κερατα ειχεν και η βασις αυτου και οι τοιχοι αυτου ξυλινοι και ειπεν προς με αυτη η τραπεζα η προ προσωπου κυριου ַמִּזְבֵּ֡חַ עֵ֣ץ שָׁלוֹשׁ֩ אַמּ֨וֹת גָּבֹ֜הַּ וְאָרְכּ֣וֹ שְׁתַּֽיִם־אַמּ֗וֹת וּמִקְצֹֽעוֹתָיו֙ ל֔וֹ וְאָרְכּ֥וֹ וְקִֽירֹתָ֖יו עֵ֑ץ וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר אֵלַ֔י זֶ֚ה הַשֻּׁלְחָ֔ן אֲשֶׁ֖ר לִפְנֵ֥י יְהוָֽה׃ The altar of wood was three cubits high, and the length thereof two cubits; and the corners thereof, and the length thereof, and the walls thereof, were of wood: and he said unto me, This is the table that is before the LORD. |
| 23 | και δυο θυρωματα τω ναω και τω αγιω ּשְׁתַּ֧יִם דְּלָת֛וֹת לַֽהֵיכָ֖ל וְלַקֹּֽדֶשׁ׃ And the temple and the sanctuary had two doors. |
| 24 | δυο θυρωματα τοις δυσι θυρωμασι τοις στροφωτοις δυο θυρωματα τω ενι και δυο θυρωματα τη θυρα τη δευτερα ּשְׁתַּ֥יִם דְּלָת֖וֹת לַדְּלָת֑וֹת שְׁ֚תַּיִם מוּסַבּ֣וֹת דְּלָת֔וֹת שְׁ֚תַּיִם לְדֶ֣לֶת אֶחָ֔ת וּשְׁתֵּ֥י דְלָת֖וֹת לָאַחֶֽרֶת׃ And the doors had two leaves apiece, two turning leaves; two leaves for the one door, and two leaves for the other door. |
| 25 | και γλυφη επ αυτων και επι τα θυρωματα του ναου χερουβιν και φοινικες κατα την γλυφην των αγιων και σπουδαια ξυλα κατα προσωπον του αιλαμ εξωθεν ַעֲשׂוּיָ֨ה אֲלֵיהֶ֜ן אֶל־דַּלְת֤וֹת הַֽהֵיכָל֙ כְּרוּבִ֣ים וְתִֽמֹרִ֔ים כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר עֲשׂוּיִ֖ם לַקִּיר֑וֹת וְעָ֥ב עֵ֛ץ אֶל־פְּנֵ֥י הָאוּלָ֖ם מֵהַחֽוּץ׃ And there were made on them, on the doors of the temple, cherubims and palm trees, like were made upon the walls; and there were thick planks upon the face of the porch without. |
| 26 | και θυριδες κρυπται και διεμετρησεν ενθεν και ενθεν εις τα οροφωματα του αιλαμ και τα πλευρα του οικου εζυγωμενα ְחַלּוֹנִ֨ים אֲטֻמ֤וֹת וְתִֽמֹרִים֙ מִפּ֣וֹ וּמִפּ֔וֹ אֶל־כִּתְפ֖וֹת הָֽאוּלָ֑ם וְצַלְע֥וֹת הַבַּ֖יִת וְהָעֻבִּֽים׃ And there were narrow windows and palm trees on the one side and on the other side, on the sides of the porch, and upon the side chambers of the house, and thick planks. |
