Priests and Levites
και ουτοι οι ιερεις και οι λευιται οι αναβαινοντες μετα ζοροβαβελ υιου σαλαθιηλ και ιησου σαραια ιερμια εσδρα
ְאֵ֙לֶּה֙ הַכֹּהֲנִ֣ים וְהַלְוִיִּ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר עָל֛וּ עִם־זְרֻבָּבֶ֥ל בֶּן־שְׁאַלְתִּיאֵ֖ל וְיֵשׁ֑וּעַ שְׂרָיָ֥ה יִרְמְיָ֖ה עֶזְרָֽא׃
Now these are the priests and the Levites that went up with Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua: Seraiah, Jeremiah, Ezra,
2 αμαρια μαλουχ
ֲמַרְיָ֥ה מַלּ֖וּךְ חַטּֽוּשׁ׃
Amariah, Malluch, Hattush,
3 σεχενια
ְׁכַנְיָ֥ה רְחֻ֖ם מְרֵמֹֽת׃
Shechaniah, Rehum, Meremoth,
4
ִדּ֥וֹא גִנְּת֖וֹי אֲבִיָּֽה׃
Iddo, Ginnetho, Abijah,
5
ִיָּמִ֥ין מַֽעַדְיָ֖ה בִּלְגָּֽה׃
Miamin, Maadiah, Bilgah,
6
ְׁמַֽעְיָ֥ה וְיוֹיָרִ֖יב יְדַֽעְיָֽה׃
Shemaiah, and Joiarib, Jedaiah,
7 ουτοι αρχοντες των ιερεων και αδελφοι αυτων εν ημεραις ιησου
ַלּ֣וּ עָמ֔וֹק חִלְקִיָּ֖ה יְדַֽעְיָ֑ה אֵ֣לֶּה רָאשֵׁ֧י הַכֹּהֲנִ֛ים וַאֲחֵיהֶ֖ם בִּימֵ֥י יֵשֽׁוּעַ׃ פ
Sallu, Amok, Hilkiah, Jedaiah. These were the chief of the priests and of their brethren in the days of Jeshua.
8 και οι λευιται ιησου βανουι καδμιηλ σαραβια ιουδα μαχανια επι των χειρων αυτος και οι αδελφοι αυτου
ְהַלְוִיִּ֗ם יֵשׁ֧וּעַ בִּנּ֛וּי קַדְמִיאֵ֥ל שֵׁרֵבְיָ֖ה יְהוּדָ֣ה מַתַּנְיָ֑ה עַֽל־הֻיְּד֖וֹת ה֥וּא וְאֶחָֽיו׃
Moreover the Levites: Jeshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Judah, and Mattaniah, which was over the thanksgiving, he and his brethren.
9 εις τας εφημεριας
ּבַקְבֻּֽקְיָ֨ה *וענו **וְעֻנִּ֧י אֲחֵיהֶ֛ם לְנֶגְדָּ֖ם לְמִשְׁמָרֽוֹת׃
Also Bakbukiah and Unni, their brethren, were opposite to them in the watches.
10 και ιησους εγεννησεν τον ιωακιμ και ιωακιμ εγεννησεν τον ελιασιβ και ελιασιβ τον ιωδαε
ְיֵשׁ֖וּעַ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת־יֽוֹיָקִ֑ים וְיֽוֹיָקִים֙ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת־אֶלְיָשִׁ֔יב וְאֶלְיָשִׁ֖יב אֶת־יוֹיָדָֽע׃
And Jeshua brings forth Joiakim, Joiakim also brings forth Eliashib, and Eliashib brings forth Joiada,
11 και ιωδαε εγεννησεν τον ιωναθαν και ιωναθαν εγεννησεν τον ιαδου
ְיוֹיָדָע֙ הוֹלִ֣יד אֶת־יוֹנָתָ֔ן וְיוֹנָתָ֖ן הוֹלִ֥יד אֶת־יַדּֽוּעַ׃
And Joiada brings forth Jonathan, and Jonathan brings forth Jaddua.
12 και εν ημεραις ιωακιμ αδελφοι αυτου οι ιερεις και οι αρχοντες των πατριων τω σαραια μαραια τω ιερμια ανανια
ּבִימֵי֙ יֽוֹיָקִ֔ים הָי֥וּ כֹהֲנִ֖ים רָאשֵׁ֣י הָאָב֑וֹת לִשְׂרָיָ֣ה מְרָיָ֔ה לְיִרְמְיָ֖ה חֲנַנְיָֽה׃
And in the days of Joiakim were priests, the chief of the fathers: of Seraiah, Meraiah; of Jeremiah, Hananiah;
13 τω εσδρα μεσουλαμ τω αμαρια ιωαναν
ְעֶזְרָ֣א מְשֻׁלָּ֔ם לַאֲמַרְיָ֖ה יְהוֹחָנָֽן׃
Of Ezra, Meshullam; of Amariah, Jehohanan;
14 τω μαλουχ ιωναθαν τω σεχενια ιωσηφ
?מלוכי **לִמְלִ֙יכוּ֙ יֽוֹנָתָ֔ן לִשְׁבַנְיָ֖ה יוֹסֵֽף׃
Of Melicu, Jonathan; of Shebaniah, Joseph;
15 τω αρεμ αδνας τω μαριωθ ελκαι
ְחָרִ֣ם עַדְנָ֔א לִמְרָי֖וֹת חֶלְקָֽי׃
Of Harim, Adna; of Meraioth, Helkai;
16 τω αδδαι ζαχαριας τω γαναθων μοσολλαμ
?עדיא **לְעִדּ֥וֹא זְכַרְיָ֖ה לְגִנְּת֥וֹן מְשֻׁלָּֽם׃
Of Iddo, Zechariah; of Ginnethon, Meshullam;
17 τω αβια ζεχρι τω βενιαμιν εν καιροις τω φελητι
ַאֲבִיָּ֖ה זִכְרִ֑י לְמִ֨נְיָמִ֔ין לְמוֹעַדְיָ֖ה פִּלְטָֽי׃
Of Abijah, Zichri; of Miniamin, of Moadiah, Piltai:
18 τω βαλγα σαμουε τω σεμεια ιωναθαν
ְבִלְגָּ֣ה שַׁמּ֔וּעַ לִֽשְׁמַעְיָ֖ה יְהוֹנָתָֽן׃
Of Bilgah, Shammua; of Shemaiah, Jehonathan;
19 τω ιωιαριβ μαθθαναι τω ιδια οζι
ּלְיוֹיָרִ֣יב מַתְּנַ֔י לִֽידַֽעְיָ֖ה עֻזִּֽי׃
And of Joiarib, Mattenai; of Jedaiah, Uzzi;
20 τω σαλλαι καλλαι τω αμουκ αβεδ
ְסַלַּ֥י קַלָּ֖י לְעָמ֥וֹק עֵֽבֶר׃
Of Sallai, Kallai; of Amok, Eber;
21 τω ελκια ασαβιας τω ιεδειου ναθαναηλ
ְחִלְקִיָּ֣ה חֲשַׁבְיָ֔ה לִֽידַֽעְיָ֖ה נְתַנְאֵֽל׃
Of Hilkiah, Hashabiah; of Jedaiah, Nethaneel.
22 οι λευιται εν ημεραις ελιασιβ ιωαδα και ιωαναν και ιδουα γεγραμμενοι αρχοντες πατριων και οι ιερεις εν βασιλεια δαρειου του περσου
ַלְוִיִּם֩ בִּימֵ֨י אֶלְיָשִׁ֜יב יוֹיָדָ֤ע וְיוֹחָנָן֙ וְיַדּ֔וּעַ כְּתוּבִ֖ים רָאשֵׁ֣י אָב֑וֹת וְהַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים עַל־מַלְכ֖וּת דָּרְיָ֥וֶשׁ הַפָּֽרְסִֽי׃ פ
The Levites in the days of Eliashib, Joiada, and Johanan, and Jaddua, were recorded chief of the fathers: also the priests, to the reign of Darius the Persian.
23 υιοι λευι αρχοντες των πατριων γεγραμμενοι επι βιβλιω λογων των ημερων και εως ημερων ιωαναν υιου ελισουβ
ְּנֵ֤י לֵוִי֙ רָאשֵׁ֣י הָֽאָב֔וֹת כְּתוּבִ֕ים עַל־סֵ֖פֶר דִּבְרֵ֣י הַיָּמִ֑ים וְעַד־יְמֵ֖י יֽוֹחָנָ֥ן בֶּן־אֶלְיָשִֽׁיב׃
The sons of Levi, the chief of the fathers, were written in the book of the chronicles, even until the days of Johanan the son of Eliashib.
24 και αρχοντες των λευιτων ασαβια και σαραβια και ιησου και υιοι καδμιηλ και οι αδελφοι αυτων κατεναντιον αυτων εις υμνειν και αινειν εν εντολη δαυιδ ανθρωπου του θεου εφημερια προς εφημεριαν
ְרָאשֵׁ֣י הַ֠לְוִיִּם חֲשַׁבְיָ֨ה שֵֽׁרֵבְיָ֜ה וְיֵשׁ֤וּעַ בֶּן־קַדְמִיאֵל֙ וַאֲחֵיהֶ֣ם לְנֶגְדָּ֔ם לְהַלֵּ֣ל לְהוֹד֔וֹת בְּמִצְוַ֖ת דָּוִ֣יד אִישׁ־הָאֱלֹהִ֑ים מִשְׁמָ֖ר לְעֻמַּ֥ת מִשְׁמָֽר׃
And the chief of the Levites: Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua the son of Kadmiel, with their brethren opposite to them, to praise and to give thanks, according to the commandment of David the man of God, ward opposite to ward.
25 εν τω συναγαγειν με τους πυλωρους
ַתַּנְיָ֧ה וּבַקְבֻּֽקְיָ֛ה עֹבַדְיָ֥ה מְשֻׁלָּ֖ם טַלְמ֣וֹן עַקּ֑וּב שֹׁמְרִ֤ים שֽׁוֹעֲרִים֙ מִשְׁמָ֔ר בַּאֲסֻפֵּ֖י הַשְּׁעָרִֽים׃
Mattaniah, and Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon, Akkub, were porters keeping the ward at the thresholds of the gates.
26 εν ημεραις ιωακιμ υιου ιησου υιου ιωσεδεκ και εν ημεραις νεεμια και εσδρας ο ιερευς ο γραμματευς
ֵ֕לֶּה בִּימֵ֛י יוֹיָקִ֥ים בֶּן־יֵשׁ֖וּעַ בֶּן־יוֹצָדָ֑ק וּבִימֵי֙ נְחֶמְיָ֣ה הַפֶּחָ֔ה וְעֶזְרָ֥א הַכֹּהֵ֖ן הַסּוֹפֵֽר׃ פ
These were in the days of Joiakim the son of Jeshua, the son of Jozadak, and in the days of Nehemiah the governor, and of Ezra the priest, the scribe.

Dedication of the Wall of Jerusalem
και εν εγκαινιοις τειχους ιερουσαλημ εζητησαν τους λευιτας εν τοις τοποις αυτων του ενεγκαι αυτους εις ιερουσαλημ ποιησαι εγκαινια και ευφροσυνην εν θωδαθα και εν ωδαις κυμβαλιζοντες και ψαλτηρια και κινυραι
ּבַחֲנֻכַּ֞ת חוֹמַ֣ת יְרוּשָׁלִַ֗ם בִּקְשׁ֤וּ אֶת־הַלְוִיִּם֙ מִכָּל־מְק֣וֹמֹתָ֔ם לַהֲבִיאָ֖ם לִֽירוּשָׁלָ֑͏ִם לַעֲשֹׂ֨ת חֲנֻכָּ֤ה וְשִׂמְחָה֙ וּבְתוֹד֣וֹת וּבְשִׁ֔יר מְצִלְתַּ֖יִם נְבָלִ֥ים וּבְכִנֹּרֽוֹת׃
And at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought the Levites out of all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem, to keep the dedication with gladness, both with thanksgivings, and with singing, with cymbals, psalteries, and with harps.
28 και συνηχθησαν οι υιοι των αδοντων και απο της περιχωρου κυκλοθεν εις ιερουσαλημ και απο επαυλεων
ַיֵּאָ֣סְפ֔וּ בְּנֵ֖י הַמְשֹׁרְרִ֑ים וּמִן־הַכִּכָּר֙ סְבִיב֣וֹת יְרוּשָׁלִַ֔ם וּמִן־חַצְרֵ֖י נְטֹפָתִֽי׃
And the sons of the singers gathered themselves together, both out of the plain country round about Jerusalem, and from the villages of Netophathi;
29 και απο αγρων οτι επαυλεις ωκοδομησαν εαυτοις οι αδοντες εν ιερουσαλημ
ּמִבֵּית֙ הַגִּלְגָּ֔ל וּמִשְּׂד֥וֹת גֶּ֖בַע וְעַזְמָ֑וֶת כִּ֣י חֲצֵרִ֗ים בָּנ֤וּ לָהֶם֙ הַמְשֹׁ֣רֲרִ֔ים סְבִיב֖וֹת יְרוּשָׁלָֽ͏ִם׃
Also from the house of Gilgal, and out of the fields of Geba and Azmaveth: for the singers had built them villages round about Jerusalem.
30 και εκαθαρισθησαν οι ιερεις και οι λευιται και εκαθαρισαν τον λαον και τους πυλωρους και το τειχος
ַיִּֽטַּהֲר֔וּ הַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים וְהַלְוִיִּ֑ם וַֽיְטַהֲרוּ֙ אֶת־הָעָ֔ם וְאֶת־הַשְּׁעָרִ֖ים וְאֶֽת־הַחוֹמָֽה׃
And the priests and the Levites purified themselves, and purified the people, and the gates, and the wall.
31 και ανηνεγκα τους αρχοντας ιουδα επανω του τειχους και εστησα δυο περι αινεσεως μεγαλους και διηλθον εκ δεξιων επανω του τειχους της κοπριας
ָאַעֲלֶה֙ אֶת־שָׂרֵ֣י יְהוּדָ֔ה מֵעַ֖ל לַחוֹמָ֑ה וָאַעֲמִ֡ידָה שְׁתֵּ֣י תוֹדֹת֩ גְּדוֹלֹ֨ת וְתַהֲלֻכֹ֤ת לַיָּמִין֙ מֵעַ֣ל לַחוֹמָ֔ה לְשַׁ֖עַר הָאַשְׁפֹּֽת׃
Then I brought up the princes of Judah upon the wall, and appointed two great companies of them that gave thanks, whereof one went on the right hand upon the wall toward the dung gate:
32 και επορευθη οπισω αυτων ωσαια και ημισυ αρχοντων ιουδα
ַיֵּ֤לֶךְ אַחֲרֵיהֶם֙ הוֹשַׁ֣עְיָ֔ה וַחֲצִ֖י שָׂרֵ֥י יְהוּדָֽה׃
And after them went Hoshaiah, and half of the princes of Judah,
33 και αζαριας εσδρας και μεσουλαμ
ַעֲזַרְיָ֥ה עֶזְרָ֖א וּמְשֻׁלָּֽם׃
And Azariah, Ezra, and Meshullam,
34 ιουδα και βενιαμιν και σαμαια και ιερμια
ְהוּדָה֙ וּבִנְיָמִ֔ן וּֽשְׁמַֽעְיָ֖ה וְיִרְמְיָֽה׃ ס
Judah, and Benjamin, and Shemaiah, and Jeremiah,
35 και απο υιων των ιερεων εν σαλπιγξιν ζαχαριας υιος ιωναθαν υιος σαμαια υιος μαθανια υιος μιχαια υιος ζακχουρ υιος ασαφ
ּמִבְּנֵ֥י הַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים בַּחֲצֹצְר֑וֹת זְכַרְיָ֨ה בֶן־יֽוֹנָתָ֜ן בֶּן־שְׁמַֽעְיָ֗ה בֶּן־מַתַּנְיָה֙ בֶּן־מִ֣יכָיָ֔ה בֶּן־זַכּ֖וּר בֶּן־אָסָֽף׃
And certain of the priests' sons with trumpets; namely, Zechariah the son of Jonathan, the son of Shemaiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Michaiah, the son of Zaccur, the son of Asaph:
36 και αδελφοι αυτου σαμαια και οζιηλ αινειν εν ωδαις δαυιδ ανθρωπου του θεου και εσδρας ο γραμματευς εμπροσθεν αυτων
ְֽאֶחָ֡יו שְֽׁמַעְיָ֡ה וַעֲזַרְאֵ֡ל מִֽלֲלַ֡י גִּֽלֲלַ֡י מָעַ֞י נְתַנְאֵ֤ל וִֽיהוּדָה֙ חֲנָ֔נִי בִּכְלֵי־שִׁ֥יר דָּוִ֖יד אִ֣ישׁ הָאֱלֹהִ֑ים וְעֶזְרָ֥א הַסּוֹפֵ֖ר לִפְנֵיהֶֽם׃
And his brethren, Shemaiah, and Azarael, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethaneel, and Judah, Hanani, with the musical instruments of David the man of God, and Ezra the scribe before them.
37 επι πυλης του αιν κατεναντι αυτων ανεβησαν επι κλιμακας πολεως δαυιδ εν αναβασει του τειχους επανωθεν του οικου δαυιδ και εως πυλης του υδατος κατα ανατολας
ְעַל֩ שַׁ֨עַר הָעַ֜יִן וְנֶגְדָּ֗ם עָלוּ֙ עַֽל־מַעֲלוֹת֙ עִ֣יר דָּוִ֔יד בַּֽמַּעֲלֶ֖ה לַחוֹמָ֑ה מֵעַל֙ לְבֵ֣ית דָּוִ֔יד וְעַ֛ד שַׁ֥עַר הַמַּ֖יִם מִזְרָֽח׃
And at the fountain gate, which was opposite to them, they went up by the stairs of the city of David, at the going up of the wall, above the house of David, even unto the water gate eastward.
38 και περι αινεσεως η δευτερα επορευετο συναντωσα αυτοις και εγω οπισω αυτης και το ημισυ του λαου επανω του τειχους υπερανω του πυργου των θεννουριμ και εως του τειχους του πλατεος
ְהַתּוֹדָ֧ה הַשֵּׁנִ֛ית הַהוֹלֶ֥כֶת לְמ֖וֹאל וַאֲנִ֣י אַחֲרֶ֑יהָ וַחֲצִ֨י הָעָ֜ם מֵעַ֣ל לְהַחוֹמָ֗ה מֵעַל֙ לְמִגְדַּ֣ל הַתַּנּוּרִ֔ים וְעַ֖ד הַחוֹמָ֥ה הָרְחָבָֽה׃
And the other company of them that gave thanks went opposite to them, and I after them, and the half of the people upon the wall, from beyond the tower of the furnaces even unto the broad wall;
39 και υπερανω της πυλης εφραιμ και επι πυλην της ισανα και επι πυλην την ιχθυηραν και πυργω ανανεηλ και εως πυλης της προβατικης και εστησαν εν πυλη της φυλακης
ּמֵעַ֣ל לְשַֽׁעַר־אֶ֠פְרַיִם וְעַל־שַׁ֨עַר הַיְשָׁנָ֜ה וְעַל־שַׁ֣עַר הַדָּגִ֗ים וּמִגְדַּ֤ל חֲנַנְאֵל֙ וּמִגְדַּ֣ל הַמֵּאָ֔ה וְעַ֖ד שַׁ֣עַר הַצֹּ֑אן וְעָ֣מְד֔וּ בְּשַׁ֖עַר הַמַּטָּרָֽה׃
And from above the gate of Ephraim, and above the old gate, and above the fish gate, and the tower of Hananeel, and the tower of Meah, even unto the sheep gate: and they stood still in the prison gate.
40 και εστησαν αι δυο της αινεσεως εν οικω του θεου και εγω και το ημισυ των στρατηγων μετ εμου
ַֽתַּעֲמֹ֛דְנָה שְׁתֵּ֥י הַתּוֹדֹ֖ת בְּבֵ֣ית הָאֱלֹהִ֑ים וַאֲנִ֕י וַחֲצִ֥י הַסְּגָנִ֖ים עִמִּֽי׃
So stood the two companies of them that gave thanks in the house of God, and I, and the half of the rulers with me:
41 και οι ιερεις ελιακιμ μαασιας βενιαμιν μιχαιας ελιωηναι ζαχαριας ανανιας εν σαλπιγξιν
ְהַכֹּהֲנִ֡ים אֶלְיָקִ֡ים מַעֲשֵׂיָ֡ה מִ֠נְיָמִין מִיכָיָ֧ה אֶלְיוֹעֵינַ֛י זְכַרְיָ֥ה חֲנַנְיָ֖ה בַּחֲצֹצְרֽוֹת׃
And the priests; Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Michaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, and Hananiah, with trumpets;
42 και μαασιας και σεμειας και ελεαζαρ και οζι και ιωαναν και μελχιας και αιλαμ και εζουρ και ηκουσθησαν οι αδοντες και επεσκεπησαν
ּמַעֲשֵׂיָ֨ה וּֽשְׁמַֽעְיָ֜ה וְאֶלְעָזָ֧ר וְעֻזִּ֛י וִֽיהוֹחָנָ֥ן וּמַלְכִּיָּ֖ה וְעֵילָ֣ם וָעָ֑זֶר וַיַּשְׁמִ֙יעוּ֙ הַמְשֹׁ֣רְרִ֔ים וְיִֽזְרַחְיָ֖ה הַפָּקִֽיד׃
And Maaseiah, and Shemaiah, and Eleazar, and Uzzi, and Jehohanan, and Malchijah, and Elam, and Ezer. And the singers sang loud, with Jezrahiah their overseer.
43 και εθυσαν εν τη ημερα εκεινη θυσιασματα μεγαλα και ηυφρανθησαν οτι ο θεος ηυφρανεν αυτους μεγαλως και αι γυναικες αυτων και τα τεκνα αυτων ηυφρανθησαν και ηκουσθη η ευφροσυνη εν ιερουσαλημ απο μακροθεν
ַיִּזְבְּח֣וּ בַיּוֹם־הַ֠הוּא זְבָחִ֨ים גְּדוֹלִ֜ים וַיִּשְׂמָ֗חוּ כִּ֤י הָאֱלֹהִים֙ שִׂמְּחָם֙ שִׂמְחָ֣ה גְדוֹלָ֔ה וְגַ֧ם הַנָּשִׁ֛ים וְהַיְלָדִ֖ים שָׂמֵ֑חוּ וַתִּשָּׁמַ֛ע שִׂמְחַ֥ת יְרוּשָׁלַ֖͏ִם מֵרָחֽוֹק׃
Also that day they offered great sacrifices, and rejoiced: for God had made them rejoice with great joy: the wives also and the children rejoiced: so that the joy of Jerusalem was heard even far off.
44 και κατεστησαν εν τη ημερα εκεινη ανδρας επι των γαζοφυλακιων τοις θησαυροις ταις απαρχαις και ταις δεκαταις και τοις συνηγμενοις εν αυτοις αρχουσιν των πολεων μεριδας τοις ιερευσι και τοις λευιταις οτι ευφροσυνη ην εν ιουδα επι τους ιερεις και επι τους λευιτας τους εστωτας
ַיִּפָּקְד֣וּ בַיּוֹם֩ הַה֨וּא אֲנָשִׁ֜ים עַל־הַנְּשָׁכ֗וֹת לָא֨וֹצָר֥וֹת לַתְּרוּמוֹת֮ לָרֵאשִׁ֣ית וְלַמַּֽעַשְׂרוֹת֒ לִכְנ֨וֹס בָּהֶ֜ם לִשְׂדֵ֤י הֶעָרִים֙ מְנָא֣וֹת הַתּוֹרָ֔ה לַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים וְלַלְוִיִּ֑ם כִּ֚י שִׂמְחַ֣ת יְהוּדָ֔ה עַל־הַכֹּהֲנִ֥ים וְעַל־הַלְוִיִּ֖ם הָעֹמְדִֽים׃
And at that time were some appointed over the chambers for the treasures, for the offerings, for the first-fruits, and for the tithes, to gather into them out of the fields of the cities the portions of the law for the priests and Levites: for Judah rejoiced for the priests and for the Levites that waited.
45 και εφυλαξαν φυλακας θεου αυτων και φυλακας του καθαρισμου και τους αδοντας και τους πυλωρους ως εντολαι δαυιδ και σαλωμων υιου αυτου
ַֽיִּשְׁמְר֞וּ מִשְׁמֶ֤רֶת אֱלֹֽהֵיהֶם֙ וּמִשְׁמֶ֣רֶת הַֽטָּהֳרָ֔ה וְהַמְשֹׁרְרִ֖ים וְהַשֹּׁעֲרִ֑ים כְּמִצְוַ֥ת דָּוִ֖יד שְׁלֹמֹ֥ה בְנֽוֹ׃
And both the singers and the porters kept the ward of their God, and the ward of the purification, according to the commandment of David, and of Solomon his son.
46 οτι εν ημεραις δαυιδ ασαφ απ αρχης πρωτος των αδοντων και υμνον και αινεσιν τω θεω
ִּֽי־בִימֵ֥י דָוִ֛יד וְאָסָ֖ף מִקֶּ֑דֶם *ראש **רָאשֵׁי֙ הַמְשֹׁ֣רְרִ֔ים וְשִׁיר־תְּהִלָּ֥ה וְהֹד֖וֹת לֵֽאלֹהִֽים׃
For in the days of David and Asaph of old there were chief of the singers, and songs of praise and thanksgiving unto God.
47 και πας ισραηλ εν ημεραις ζοροβαβελ διδοντες μεριδας των αδοντων και των πυλωρων λογον ημερας εν ημερα αυτου και αγιαζοντες τοις λευιταις και οι λευιται αγιαζοντες τοις υιοις ααρων
ְכָל־יִשְׂרָאֵל֩ בִּימֵ֨י זְרֻבָּבֶ֜ל וּבִימֵ֣י נְחֶמְיָ֗ה נֹֽתְנִ֛ים מְנָי֛וֹת הַמְשֹׁרְרִ֥ים וְהַשֹּׁעֲרִ֖ים דְּבַר־י֣וֹם בְּיוֹמ֑וֹ וּמַקְדִּשִׁים֙ לַלְוִיִּ֔ם וְהַלְוִיִּ֔ם מַקְדִּשִׁ֖ים לִבְנֵ֥י אַהֲרֹֽן׃ פ
And all Israel in the days of Zerubbabel, and in the days of Nehemiah, gave the portions of the singers and the porters, every day his portion: and they sanctified holy things unto the Levites; and the Levites sanctified them unto the children of Aaron.
