| 1 | The New Residents of Jerusalemκαι εκαθισαν οι αρχοντες του λαου εν ιερουσαλημ και οι καταλοιποι του λαου εβαλοσαν κληρους ενεγκαι ενα απο των δεκα καθισαι εν ιερουσαλημ πολει τη αγια και εννεα μερη εν ταις πολεσινַיֵּשְׁב֥וּ שָׂרֵֽי־הָעָ֖ם בִּירוּשָׁלָ֑͏ִם וּשְׁאָ֣ר הָ֠עָם הִפִּ֨ילוּ גוֹרָל֜וֹת לְהָבִ֣יא ׀ אֶחָ֣ד מִן־הָעֲשָׂרָ֗ה לָשֶׁ֙בֶת֙ בִּֽירוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ עִ֣יר הַקֹּ֔דֶשׁ וְתֵ֥שַׁע הַיָּד֖וֹת בֶּעָרִֽים׃ And the rulers of the people dwelt at Jerusalem: the rest of the people also cast lots, to bring one of ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and nine parts to dwell in other cities. |

| 2 | και ευλογησεν ο λαος τους παντας ανδρας τους εκουσιαζομενους καθισαι εν ιερουσαλημ ַֽיְבָרֲכ֖וּ הָעָ֑ם לְכֹל֙ הֽ͏ָאֲנָשִׁ֔ים הַמִּֽתְנַדְּבִ֔ים לָשֶׁ֖בֶת בִּירוּשָׁלָֽ͏ִם׃ פ And the people blessed all the men, that willingly offered themselves to dwell at Jerusalem. |
| 3 | και ουτοι οι αρχοντες της χωρας οι εκαθισαν εν ιερουσαλημ και εν πολεσιν ιουδα εκαθισαν ανηρ εν κατασχεσει αυτου εν πολεσιν αυτων ισραηλ οι ιερεις και οι λευιται και οι ναθιναιοι και οι υιοι δουλων σαλωμων ְאֵ֙לֶּה֙ רָאשֵׁ֣י הַמְּדִינָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר יָשְׁב֖וּ בִּירוּשָׁלָ֑͏ִם וּבְעָרֵ֣י יְהוּדָ֗ה יָֽשְׁב֞וּ אִ֤ישׁ בַּאֲחֻזָּתוֹ֙ בְּעָ֣רֵיהֶ֔ם יִשְׂרָאֵ֤ל הַכֹּהֲנִים֙ וְהַלְוִיִּ֣ם וְהַנְּתִינִ֔ים וּבְנֵ֖י עַבְדֵ֥י שְׁלֹמֹֽה׃ Now these are the chief of the province that dwelt in Jerusalem: but in the cities of Judah dwelt every one in his possession in their cities, to know, Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the Nethinims, and the children of Solomon's servants. |
| 4 | και εν ιερουσαλημ εκαθισαν απο υιων ιουδα και απο υιων βενιαμιν απο υιων ιουδα αθαια υιος αζαια υιος ζαχαρια υιος αμαρια υιος σαφατια υιος μαλεληλ και απο υιων φαρες ּבִֽירוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ יָֽשְׁב֔וּ מִבְּנֵ֥י יְהוּדָ֖ה וּמִבְּנֵ֣י בִנְיָמִ֑ן מִבְּנֵ֣י יְ֠הוּדָה עֲתָיָ֨ה בֶן־עֻזִּיָּ֜ה בֶּן־זְכַרְיָ֧ה בֶן־אֲמַרְיָ֛ה בֶּן־שְׁפַטְיָ֥ה בֶן־מַהֲלַלְאֵ֖ל מִבְּנֵי־פָֽרֶץ׃ And at Jerusalem dwelt certain of the children of Judah, and of the children of Benjamin. Of the children of Judah; Athaiah the son of Uzziah, the son of Zechariah, the son of Amariah, the son of Shephatiah, the son of Mahalaleel, of the children of Perez; |
| 5 | και μαασια υιος βαρουχ υιος χαλαζα υιος οζια υιος αδαια υιος ιωριβ υιος θηζια υιος του σηλωνι ּמַעֲשֵׂיָ֣ה בֶן־בָּר֣וּךְ בֶּן־כָּל־חֹ֠זֶה בֶּן־חֲזָיָ֨ה בֶן־עֲדָיָ֧ה בֶן־יוֹיָרִ֛יב בֶּן־זְכַרְיָ֖ה בֶּן־הַשִּׁלֹנִֽי׃ And Maaseiah the son of Baruch, the son of Colhozeh, the son of Hazaiah, the son of Adaiah, the son of Joiarib, the son of Zechariah, the son of Shiloni. |
| 6 | παντες υιοι φαρες οι καθημενοι εν ιερουσαλημ τετρακοσιοι εξηκοντα οκτω ανδρες δυναμεως ָּל־בְּנֵי־פֶ֕רֶץ הַיֹּשְׁבִ֖ים בִּירוּשָׁלָ֑͏ִם אַרְבַּ֥ע מֵא֛וֹת שִׁשִּׁ֥ים וּשְׁמֹנָ֖ה אַנְשֵׁי־חָֽיִל׃ ס All the sons of Perez that dwelt at Jerusalem were four hundred threescore and eight valiant men. |
| 7 | και ουτοι υιοι βενιαμιν σηλω υιος μεσουλαμ υιος ιωαδ υιος φαδαια υιος κωλια υιος μασαια υιος αιθιηλ υιος ιεσια ְאֵ֖לֶּה בְּנֵ֣י בִנְיָמִ֑ן סַלֻּ֡א בֶּן־מְשֻׁלָּ֡ם בֶּן־יוֹעֵ֡ד בֶּן־פְּדָיָה֩ בֶן־ק֨וֹלָיָ֧ה בֶן־מַעֲשֵׂיָ֛ה בֶּן־אִֽיתִיאֵ֖ל בֶּן־יְשַֽׁעְיָֽה׃ And these are the sons of Benjamin; Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Joed, the son of Pedaiah, the son of Kolaiah, the son of Maaseiah, the son of Ithiel, the son of Jesaiah. |
| 8 | και οπισω αυτου γηβι σηλι εννακοσιοι εικοσι οκτω ְאַחֲרָ֖יו גַּבַּ֣י סַלָּ֑י תְּשַׁ֥ע מֵא֖וֹת עֶשְׂרִ֥ים וּשְׁמֹנָֽה׃ And after him Gabbai, Sallai, nine hundred twenty and eight. |
| 9 | και ιωηλ υιος ζεχρι επισκοπος επ αυτους και ιουδας υιος ασανα επι της πολεως δευτερος ְיוֹאֵ֥ל בֶּן־זִכְרִ֖י פָּקִ֣יד עֲלֵיהֶ֑ם וִיהוּדָ֧ה בֶן־הַסְּנוּאָ֛ה עַל־הָעִ֖יר מִשְׁנֶֽה׃ פ And Joel the son of Zichri was their overseer: and Judah the son of Senuah was second over the city. |
| 10 | απο των ιερεων και ιαδια υιος ιωριβ ιαχιν ִן־הַֽכֹּהֲנִ֑ים יְדַֽעְיָ֥ה בֶן־יוֹיָרִ֖יב יָכִֽין׃ Of the priests: Jedaiah the son of Joiarib, Jachin. |
| 11 | σαραια υιος ελκια υιος μεσουλαμ υιος σαδδουκ υιος μαριωθ υιος αιτωβ απεναντι οικου του θεου ְׂרָיָ֨ה בֶן־חִלְקִיָּ֜ה בֶּן־מְשֻׁלָּ֣ם בֶּן־צָד֗וֹק בֶּן־מְרָיוֹת֙ בֶּן־אֲחִיט֔וּב נְגִ֖ד בֵּ֥ית הָאֱלֹהִֽים׃ Seraiah the son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, was the ruler of the house of God. |
| 12 | και αδελφοι αυτων ποιουντες το εργον του οικου αμασι υιος ζαχαρια υιος φασσουρ υιος μελχια ַאֲחֵיהֶ֗ם עֹשֵׂ֤י הַמְּלָאכָה֙ לַבַּ֔יִת שְׁמֹנֶ֥ה מֵא֖וֹת עֶשְׂרִ֣ים וּשְׁנָ֑יִם וַ֠עֲדָיָה בֶּן־יְרֹחָ֤ם בֶּן־פְּלַלְיָה֙ בֶּן־אַמְצִ֣י בֶן־זְכַרְיָ֔ה בֶּן־פַּשְׁח֖וּר בֶּן־מַלְכִּיָּֽה׃ And their brethren that did the work of the house were eight hundred twenty and two: and Adaiah the son of Jeroham, the son of Pelaliah, the son of Amzi, the son of Zechariah, the son of Pashur, the son of Malchiah. |
| 13 | αρχοντες πατριων διακοσιοι τεσσαρακοντα δυο και αμεσσαι υιος εσδριηλ ְאֶחָיו֙ רָאשִׁ֣ים לְאָב֔וֹת מָאתַ֖יִם אַרְבָּעִ֣ים וּשְׁנָ֑יִם וַעֲמַשְׁסַ֧י בֶּן־עֲזַרְאֵ֛ל בֶּן־אַחְזַ֥י בֶּן־מְשִׁלֵּמ֖וֹת בֶּן־אִמֵּֽר׃ And his brethren, chief of the fathers, two hundred forty and two: and Amashai the son of Azareel, the son of Ahasai, the son of Meshillemoth, the son of Immer, |
| 14 | και αδελφοι αυτου δυνατοι παραταξεως εκατον εικοσι οκτω και επισκοπος επ αυτων βαδιηλ ַאֲחֵיהֶם֙ גִּבּ֣וֹרֵי חַ֔יִל מֵאָ֖ה עֶשְׂרִ֣ים וּשְׁמֹנָ֑ה וּפָקִ֣יד עֲלֵיהֶ֔ם זַבְדִּיאֵ֖ל בֶּן־הַגְּדוֹלִֽים׃ ס And their brethren, mighty men of valour, an hundred twenty and eight: and their overseer was Zabdiel, the son of one of the great men. |
| 15 | και απο των λευιτων σαμαια υιος ασουβ υιος εζρι ּמִֽן־הַלְוִיִּ֑ם שְׁמַעְיָ֧ה בֶן־חַשּׁ֛וּב בֶּן־עַזְרִיקָ֥ם בֶּן־חֲשַׁבְיָ֖ה בֶּן־בּוּנִּֽי׃ Also of the Levites: Shemaiah the son of Hashub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Bunni; |
| 16 | ְשַׁבְּתַ֨י וְיוֹזָבָ֜ד עַל־הַמְּלָאכָ֤ה הַחִֽיצֹנָה֙ לְבֵ֣ית הָאֱלֹהִ֔ים מֵרָאשֵׁ֖י הַלְוִיִּֽם׃ And Shabbethai and Jozabad, of the chief of the Levites, had the oversight of the outward business of the house of God. |
| 17 | και μαθανια υιος μιχα και ωβηδ υιος σαμουι ּמַתַּנְיָ֣ה בֶן־מִ֠יכָה בֶּן־זַבְדִּ֨י בֶן־אָסָ֜ף רֹ֗אשׁ הַתְּחִלָּה֙ יְהוֹדֶ֣ה לַתְּפִלָּ֔ה וּבַקְבֻּקְיָ֖ה מִשְׁנֶ֣ה מֵאֶחָ֑יו וְעַבְדָּא֙ בֶּן־שַׁמּ֔וּעַ בֶּן־גָּלָ֖ל בֶּן־*ידיתון **יְדוּתֽוּן׃ And Mattaniah the son of Micha, the son of Zabdi, the son of Asaph, was the principal to begin the thanksgiving in prayer: and Bakbukiah the second among his brethren, and Abda the son of Shammua, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun. |
| 18 | διακοσιοι ογδοηκοντα τεσσαρες ָּל־הַלְוִיִּם֙ בְּעִ֣יר הַקֹּ֔דֶשׁ מָאתַ֖יִם שְׁמֹנִ֥ים וְאַרְבָּעָֽה׃ פ All the Levites in the holy city were two hundred fourscore and four. |
| 19 | και οι πυλωροι ακουβ τελαμιν και οι αδελφοι αυτων εκατον εβδομηκοντα δυο ְהַשּֽׁוֹעֲרִים֙ עַקּ֣וּב טַלְמ֔וֹן וַאֲחֵיהֶ֖ם הַשֹּׁמְרִ֣ים בַּשְּׁעָרִ֑ים מֵאָ֖ה שִׁבְעִ֥ים וּשְׁנָֽיִם׃ Moreover the porters, Akkub, Talmon, and their brethren that kept the gates, were an hundred seventy and two. |
| 20 | ּשְׁאָ֨ר יִשְׂרָאֵ֜ל הַכֹּהֲנִ֤ים הַלְוִיִּם֙ בְּכָל־עָרֵ֣י יְהוּדָ֔ה אִ֖ישׁ בְּנַחֲלָתֽוֹ׃ And the residue of Israel, of the priests, and the Levites, were in all the cities of Judah, every one in his inheritance. |
| 21 | ְהַנְּתִינִ֖ים יֹשְׁבִ֣ים בָּעֹ֑פֶל וְצִיחָ֥א וְגִשְׁפָּ֖א עַל־הַנְּתִינִֽים׃ פ But the Nethinims dwelt in Ophel: and Ziha and Gispa were over the Nethinims. |
| 22 | και επισκοπος λευιτων υιος βανι οζι υιος ασαβια υιος μιχα απο υιων ασαφ των αδοντων απεναντι εργου οικου του θεου ּפְקִ֤יד הַלְוִיִּם֙ בִּיר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם עֻזִּ֤י בֶן־בָּנִי֙ בֶּן־חֲשַׁבְיָ֔ה בֶּן־מַתַּנְיָ֖ה בֶּן־מִיכָ֑א מִבְּנֵ֤י אָסָף֙ הַמְשֹׁ֣רְרִ֔ים לְנֶ֖גֶד מְלֶ֥אכֶת בֵּית־הָאֱלֹהִֽים׃ The overseer also of the Levites at Jerusalem was Uzzi the son of Bani, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Micha. Of the sons of Asaph, the singers were over the business of the house of God. |
| 23 | οτι εντολη του βασιλεως επ αυτους ִּֽי־מִצְוַ֥ת הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ עֲלֵיהֶ֑ם וַאֲמָנָ֥ה עַל־הַמְשֹׁרְרִ֖ים דְּבַר־י֥וֹם בְּיוֹמֽוֹ׃ For it was the king's commandment concerning them, that a certain portion should be for the singers, due for every day. |
| 24 | και παθαια υιος βασηζα προς χειρα του βασιλεως εις παν ρημα τω λαω ּפְתַֽחְיָ֨ה בֶּן־מְשֵֽׁיזַבְאֵ֜ל מִבְּנֵי־זֶ֤רַח בֶּן־יְהוּדָה֙ לְיַ֣ד הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ לְכָל־דָּבָ֖ר לָעָֽם׃ And Pethahiah the son of Meshezabeel, of the children of Zerah the son of Judah, was at the king's hand in all matters concerning the people. |
| 25 | και προς τας επαυλεις εν αγρω αυτων και απο υιων ιουδα εκαθισαν εν καριαθαρβοκ ְאֶל־הַחֲצֵרִ֖ים בִּשְׂדֹתָ֑ם מִבְּנֵ֣י יְהוּדָ֗ה יָֽשְׁב֞וּ בְּקִרְיַ֤ת הָֽאַרְבַּע֙ וּבְנֹתֶ֔יהָ וּבְדִיבֹן֙ וּבְנֹתֶ֔יהָ וּבִֽיקַּבְצְאֵ֖ל וַחֲצֵרֶֽיהָ׃ And for the villages, with their fields, some of the children of Judah dwelt at Kirjatharba, and in the villages thereof, and at Dibon, and in the villages thereof, and at Jekabzeel, and in the villages thereof, |
| 26 | και εν ιησου ּבְיֵשׁ֥וּעַ וּבְמוֹלָדָ֖ה וּבְבֵ֥ית פָּֽלֶט׃ And at Jeshua, and at Moladah, and at Bethphelet, |
| 27 | και εν βεηρσαβεε ּבַחֲצַ֥ר שׁוּעָ֛ל וּבִבְאֵ֥ר שֶׁ֖בַע וּבְנֹתֶֽיהָ׃ And at Hazarshual, and at Beersheba, and in the villages thereof, |
| 28 | ּבְצִֽקְלַ֥ג וּבִמְכֹנָ֖ה וּבִבְנֹתֶֽיהָ׃ And at Ziklag, and at Mekonah, and in the villages thereof, |
| 29 | ּבְעֵ֥ין רִמּ֛וֹן וּבְצָרְעָ֖ה וּבְיַרְמֽוּת׃ And at Enrimmon, and at Zareah, and at Jarmuth, |
| 30 | και επαυλεις αυτων λαχις και αγροι αυτης και παρενεβαλοσαν εν βεηρσαβεε ָנֹ֤חַ עֲדֻלָּם֙ וְחַצְרֵיהֶ֔ם לָכִישׁ֙ וּשְׂדֹתֶ֔יהָ עֲזֵקָ֖ה וּבְנֹתֶ֑יהָ וַיַּחֲנ֥וּ מִבְּאֵֽר־שֶׁ֖בַע עַד־גֵּֽיא־הִנֹּֽם׃ Zanoah, Adullam, and in their villages, at Lachish, and the fields thereof, at Azekah, and in the villages thereof. And they dwelt from Beersheba unto the valley of Hinnom. |
| 31 | και οι υιοι βενιαμιν απο γαβα μαχαμας ּבְנֵ֥י בִנְיָמִ֖ן מִגָּ֑בַע מִכְמָ֣שׂ וְעַיָּ֔ה וּבֵֽית־אֵ֖ל וּבְנֹתֶֽיהָ׃ The children also of Benjamin from Geba dwelt at Michmash, and Aija, and Bethel, and in their villages. |
| 32 | ֲנָת֥וֹת נֹ֖ב עֲנָֽנְיָֽה׃ And at Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah, |
| 33 | ָצ֥וֹר ׀ רָמָ֖ה גִּתָּֽיִם׃ Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim, |
| 34 | ָדִ֥יד צְבֹעִ֖ים נְבַלָּֽט׃ Hadid, Zeboim, Neballat, |
| 35 | ֹ֥ד וְאוֹנ֖וֹ גֵּ֥י הַחֲרָשִֽׁים׃ Lod, and Ono, the valley of craftsmen. |
| 36 | και απο των λευιτων μεριδες ιουδα τω βενιαμιν ּמִן־הַלְוִיִּ֔ם מַחְלְק֥וֹת יְהוּדָ֖ה לְבִנְיָמִֽין׃ פ And of the Levites were divisions in Judah, and in Benjamin. |
