The Gatekeepers
εις διαιρεσεις των πυλων υιοις κορειμ μοσολλαμια υιος κωρη εκ των υιων αβιασαφ
ְמַחְלְק֖וֹת לְשֹׁעֲרִ֑ים לַקָּרְחִ֕ים מְשֶֽׁלֶמְיָ֥הוּ בֶן־קֹרֵ֖א מִן־בְּנֵ֥י אָסָֽף׃
Concerning the divisions of the porters: Of the Korhites was Meshelemiah the son of Kore, of the sons of Asaph.
2 και τω μοσολλαμια υιοι ζαχαριας ο πρωτοτοκος ιδιηλ ο δευτερος ζαβαδιας ο τριτος ιεθνουηλ ο τεταρτος
ְלִמְשֶֽׁלֶמְיָ֖הוּ בָּנִ֑ים זְכַרְיָ֤הוּ הַבְּכוֹר֙ יְדִֽיעֲאֵ֣ל הַשֵּׁנִ֔י זְבַדְיָ֙הוּ֙ הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֔י יַתְנִיאֵ֖ל הָרְבִיעִֽי׃
And the sons of Meshelemiah were, Zechariah the firstborn, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel the fourth,
3 ωλαμ ο πεμπτος ιωαναν ο εκτος ελιωηναι ο εβδομος
ֵילָ֤ם הַחֲמִישִׁי֙ יְהוֹחָנָ֣ן הַשִּׁשִּׁ֔י אֶלְיְהוֹעֵינַ֖י הַשְּׁבִיעִֽי׃
Elam the fifth, Jehohanan the sixth, Elioenai the seventh.
4 και τω αβδεδομ υιοι σαμαιας ο πρωτοτοκος ιωζαβαδ ο δευτερος ιωαα ο τριτος σωχαρ ο τεταρτος ναθαναηλ ο πεμπτος
ּלְעֹבֵ֥ד אֱדֹ֖ם בָּנִ֑ים שְׁמַֽעְיָ֤ה הַבְּכוֹר֙ יְהוֹזָבָ֣ד הַשֵּׁנִ֔י יוֹאָ֤ח הַשְּׁלִשִׁי֙ וְשָׂכָ֣ר הָרְבִיעִ֔י וּנְתַנְאֵ֖ל הַחֲמִישִֽׁי׃
Moreover the sons of Obededom were, Shemaiah the firstborn, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, and Sacar the fourth, and Nethaneel the fifth.
5 αμιηλ ο εκτος ισσαχαρ ο εβδομος φολλαθι ο ογδοος οτι ευλογησεν αυτον ο θεος
ַמִּיאֵ֤ל הַשִּׁשִּׁי֙ יִשָׂשכָ֣ר הַשְּׁבִיעִ֔י פְּעֻלְּתַ֖י הַשְּׁמִינִ֑י כִּ֥י בֵרֲכ֖וֹ אֱלֹהִֽים׃ פ
Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Peulthai the eighth: for God blessed him.
6 και τω σαμαια υιω αυτου ετεχθησαν υιοι του πρωτοτοκου ρωσαι εις τον οικον τον πατρικον αυτου οτι δυνατοι ησαν
ְלִֽשְׁמַֽעְיָ֤ה בְנוֹ֙ נוֹלַ֣ד בָּנִ֔ים הַמִּמְשָׁלִ֖ים לְבֵ֣ית אֲבִיהֶ֑ם כִּֽי־גִבּ֥וֹרֵי חַ֖יִל הֵֽמָּה׃
Also unto Shemaiah his son were sons born, that ruled throughout the house of their father: for they were mighty men of valour.
7 υιοι σαμαια γοθνι και ραφαηλ και ωβηδ και ελζαβαδ και αχιου υιοι δυνατοι ελιου και σαβχια και ισβακωμ
ְּנֵ֣י שְׁמַֽעְיָ֗ה עָ֠תְנִי וּרְפָאֵ֨ל וְעוֹבֵ֧ד אֶלְזָבָ֛ד אֶחָ֖יו בְּנֵי־חָ֑יִל אֱלִיה֖וּ וּסְמַכְיָֽהוּ׃
The sons of Shemaiah; Othni, and Rephael, and Obed, Elzabad, whose brethren were strong men, Elihu, and Semachiah.
8 παντες απο των υιων αβδεδομ αυτοι και οι αδελφοι αυτων και υιοι αυτων ποιουντες δυνατως εν τη εργασια οι παντες εξηκοντα δυο τω αβδεδομ
ָּל־אֵ֜לֶּה מִבְּנֵ֣י ׀ עֹבֵ֣ד אֱדֹ֗ם הֵ֤מָּה וּבְנֵיהֶם֙ וַאֲחֵיהֶ֔ם אִֽישׁ־חַ֥יִל בַּכֹּ֖חַ לַעֲבֹדָ֑ה שִׁשִּׁ֥ים וּשְׁנַ֖יִם לְעֹבֵ֥ד אֱדֹֽם׃
All these of the sons of Obededom: they and their sons and their brethren, able men for strength for the service, were threescore and two of Obededom.
9 και τω μοσολλαμια υιοι και αδελφοι δεκα και οκτω δυνατοι
ְלִמְשֶֽׁלֶמְיָ֗הוּ בָּנִ֧ים וְאַחִ֛ים בְּנֵי־חָ֖יִל שְׁמוֹנָ֥ה עָשָֽׂר׃ ס
And Meshelemiah had sons and brethren, strong men, eighteen.
10 και τω ωσα των υιων μεραρι υιοι φυλασσοντες την αρχην οτι ουκ ην πρωτοτοκος και εποιησεν αυτον ο πατηρ αυτου αρχοντα
ּלְחֹסָ֥ה מִן־בְּנֵי־מְרָרִ֖י בָּנִ֑ים שִׁמְרִ֤י הָרֹאשׁ֙ כִּ֣י לֹא־הָיָ֣ה בְכ֔וֹר וַיְשִׂימֵ֥הוּ אָבִ֖יהוּ לְרֹֽאשׁ׃
Also Hosah, of the children of Merari, had sons; Simri the chief, (for though he was not the firstborn, yet his father made him the chief;)
11 της διαιρεσεως της δευτερας ταβλαι ο τριτος ζαχαριας ο τεταρτος παντες ουτοι υιοι και αδελφοι τω ωσα τρισκαιδεκα
ִלְקִיָּ֤הוּ הַשֵּׁנִי֙ טְבַלְיָ֣הוּ הַשְּׁלִשִׁ֔י זְכַרְיָ֖הוּ הָרְבִעִ֑י כָּל־בָּנִ֧ים וְאַחִ֛ים לְחֹסָ֖ה שְׁלֹשָׁ֥ה עָשָֽׂר׃
Hilkiah the second, Tebaliah the third, Zechariah the fourth: all the sons and brethren of Hosah were thirteen.
12 τουτοις αι διαιρεσεις των πυλων τοις αρχουσι των δυνατων εφημεριαι καθως οι αδελφοι αυτων λειτουργειν εν οικω κυριου
ְ֠אֵלֶּה מַחְלְק֨וֹת הַשֹּֽׁעֲרִ֜ים לְרָאשֵׁ֧י הַגְּבָרִ֛ים מִשְׁמָר֖וֹת לְעֻמַּ֣ת אֲחֵיהֶ֑ם לְשָׁרֵ֖ת בְּבֵ֥ית יְהוָֽה׃
Among these were the divisions of the porters, even among the chief men, having wards one against another, to minister in the house of the LORD.
13 και εβαλον κληρους κατα τον μικρον και κατα τον μεγαν κατ οικους πατριων αυτων εις πυλωνα και πυλωνα
ַיַּפִּ֨ילוּ גוֹרָל֜וֹת כַּקָּטֹ֧ן כַּגָּד֛וֹל לְבֵ֥ית אֲבוֹתָ֖ם לְשַׁ֥עַר וָשָֽׁעַר׃ פ
And they cast lots, as well the small as the great, according to the house of their fathers, for every gate.
14 και επεσεν ο κληρος των προς ανατολας τω σαλαμια και ζαχαρια υιοι ιωας τω μελχια εβαλον κληρους και εξηλθεν ο κληρος βορρα
ַיִּפֹּ֧ל הַגּוֹרָ֛ל מִזְרָ֖חָה לְשֶֽׁלֶמְיָ֑הוּ וּזְכַרְיָ֨הוּ בְנ֜וֹ יוֹעֵ֣ץ ׀ בְּשֶׂ֗כֶל הִפִּ֙ילוּ֙ גּֽוֹרָל֔וֹת וַיֵּצֵ֥א גוֹרָל֖וֹ צָפֽוֹנָה׃ ס
And the lot eastward fell to Shelemiah. Then for Zechariah his son, a wise counsellor, they cast lots; and his lot came out northward.
15 τω αβδεδομ νοτον κατεναντι οικου εσεφιν
ְעֹבֵ֥ד אֱדֹ֖ם נֶ֑גְבָּה וּלְבָנָ֖יו בֵּ֥ית הָאֲסֻפִּֽים׃
To Obededom southward; and to his sons the house of Asuppim.
16 εις δευτερον τω ωσα προς δυσμαις μετα την πυλην παστοφοριου της αναβασεως φυλακη κατεναντι φυλακης
ְשֻׁפִּ֤ים וּלְחֹסָה֙ לַֽמַּעֲרָ֔ב עִ֚ם שַׁ֣עַר שַׁלֶּ֔כֶת בַּֽמְסִלָּ֖ה הָעוֹלָ֑ה מִשְׁמָ֖ר לְעֻמַּ֥ת מִשְׁמָֽר׃
To Shuppim and Hosah the lot came forth westward, with the gate Shallecheth, by the causeway of the going up, ward against ward.
17 προς ανατολας εξ την ημεραν βορρα της ημερας τεσσαρες νοτον της ημερας τεσσαρες και εις το εσεφιν δυο
ַמִּזְרָח֮ הַלְוִיִּ֣ם שִׁשָּׁה֒ לַצָּפ֤וֹנָה לַיּוֹם֙ אַרְבָּעָ֔ה לַנֶּ֥גְבָּה לַיּ֖וֹם אַרְבָּעָ֑ה וְלָאֲסֻפִּ֖ים שְׁנַ֥יִם שְׁנָֽיִם׃
Eastward were six Levites, northward four a day, southward four a day, and toward Asuppim two and two.
18 εις διαδεχομενους και προς δυσμαις τεσσαρες και εις τον τριβον δυο διαδεχομενους
ַפַּרְבָּ֖ר לַֽמַּעֲרָ֑ב אַרְבָּעָה֙ לַֽמְסִלָּ֔ה שְׁנַ֖יִם לַפַּרְבָּֽר׃
At Parbar westward, four at the causeway, and two at Parbar.
19 αυται αι διαιρεσεις των πυλωρων τοις υιοις κορε και τοις υιοις μεραρι
ֵ֗לֶּה מַחְלְקוֹת֙ הַשֹּׁ֣עֲרִ֔ים לִבְנֵ֥י הַקָּרְחִ֖י וְלִבְנֵ֥י מְרָרִֽי׃
These are the divisions of the porters among the sons of Kore, and among the sons of Merari.

The Treasurers and Other Officials
και οι λευιται αδελφοι αυτων επι των θησαυρων οικου κυριου και επι των θησαυρων των καθηγιασμενων
ְֽהַלְוִיִּ֑ם אֲחִיָּ֗ה עַל־אֽוֹצְרוֹת֙ בֵּ֣ית הָאֱלֹהִ֔ים וּלְאֹֽצְר֖וֹת הַקֳּדָשִֽׁים׃
And of the Levites, Ahijah was over the treasures of the house of God, and over the treasures of the dedicated things.
21 υιοι λαδαν υιοι τω γηρσωνι τω λαδαν αρχοντες πατριων τω λαδαν τω γηρσωνι ιιηλ
ְּנֵ֣י לַ֠עְדָּן בְּנֵ֨י הַגֵּרְשֻׁנִּ֜י לְלַעְדָּ֗ן רָאשֵׁ֧י הָאָב֛וֹת לְלַעְדָּ֥ן הַגֵּרְשֻׁנִּ֖י יְחִיאֵלִֽי׃
As concerning the sons of Laadan; the sons of the Gershonite Laadan, chief fathers, even of Laadan the Gershonite, were Jehieli.
22 και υιοι ιιηλ ζεθομ και ιωηλ οι αδελφοι επι των θησαυρων οικου κυριου
ְּנֵ֖י יְחִֽיאֵלִ֑י זֵתָם֙ וְיוֹאֵ֣ל אָחִ֔יו עַל־אֹצְר֖וֹת בֵּ֥ית יְהוָֽה׃
The sons of Jehieli; Zetham, and Joel his brother, which were over the treasures of the house of the LORD.
23 τω αμβραμ και ισσααρ χεβρων και οζιηλ
ַֽעַמְרָמִי֙ לַיִּצְהָרִ֔י לַֽחֶבְרוֹנִ֖י לָֽעָזִּיאֵלִֽי׃
Of the Amramites, and the Izharites, the Hebronites, and the Uzzielites:
24 και σουβαηλ ο του γηρσαμ του μωυση ηγουμενος επι των θησαυρων
ּשְׁבֻאֵל֙ בֶּן־גֵּרְשׁ֣וֹם בֶּן־מֹשֶׁ֔ה נָגִ֖יד עַל־הָאֹצָרֽוֹת׃
And Shebuel the son of Gershom, the son of Moses, was ruler of the treasures.
25 και τω αδελφω αυτου τω ελιεζερ ρααβιας υιος και ιωσαιας και ιωραμ και ζεχρι και σαλωμωθ
ְאֶחָ֖יו לֶֽאֱלִיעֶ֑זֶר רְחַבְיָ֨הוּ בְנ֜וֹ וִֽישַׁעְיָ֤הוּ בְנוֹ֙ וְיֹרָ֣ם בְּנ֔וֹ וְזִכְרִ֥י בְנ֖וֹ *ושלמות **וּשְׁלֹמִ֥ית בְּנֽוֹ׃
And his brethren by Eliezer; Rehabiah his son, and Jeshaiah his son, and Joram his son, and Zichri his son, and Shelomith his son.
26 αυτος σαλωμωθ και οι αδελφοι αυτου επι παντων των θησαυρων των αγιων ους ηγιασεν δαυιδ ο βασιλευς και οι αρχοντες των πατριων χιλιαρχοι και εκατονταρχοι και αρχηγοι της δυναμεως
֧וּא שְׁלֹמ֣וֹת וְאֶחָ֗יו עַ֣ל כָּל־אֹצְר֤וֹת הַקֳּדָשִׁים֙ אֲשֶׁ֨ר הִקְדִּ֜ישׁ דָּוִ֣יד הַמֶּ֗לֶךְ וְרָאשֵׁ֧י הָאָב֛וֹת לְשָׂרֵֽי־הָאֲלָפִ֥ים וְהַמֵּא֖וֹת וְשָׂרֵ֥י הַצָּבָֽא׃
Which Shelomith and his brethren were over all the treasures of the dedicated things, which David the king, and the chief fathers, the captains over thousands and hundreds, and the captains of the host, had dedicated.
27 α ελαβεν εκ των πολεμων και εκ των λαφυρων και ηγιασεν απ αυτων του μη καθυστερησαι την οικοδομην του οικου του θεου
ִן־הַמִּלְחָמ֥וֹת וּמִן־הַשָּׁלָ֖ל הִקְדִּ֑ישׁוּ לְחַזֵּ֖ק לְבֵ֥ית יְהוָֽה׃
Out of the spoils won in battles did they dedicate to maintain the house of the LORD.
28 και επι παντων των αγιων σαμουηλ του προφητου και σαουλ του κις και αβεννηρ του νηρ και ιωαβ του σαρουια παν ο ηγιασαν δια χειρος σαλωμωθ και των αδελφων αυτου
ְכֹ֨ל הַֽהִקְדִּ֜ישׁ שְׁמוּאֵ֤ל הָרֹאֶה֙ וְשָׁא֣וּל בֶּן־קִ֔ישׁ וְאַבְנֵ֣ר בֶּן־נֵ֔ר וְיוֹאָ֖ב בֶּן־צְרוּיָ֑ה כֹּ֚ל הַמַּקְדִּ֔ישׁ עַ֥ל יַד־שְׁלֹמִ֖ית וְאֶחָֽיו׃ פ
And all that Samuel the seer, and Saul the son of Kish, and Abner the son of Ner, and Joab the son of Zeruiah, had dedicated; and whosoever had dedicated any thing, it was under the hand of Shelomith, and of his brethren.
29 τω ισσαρι χωνενια και υιοι αυτου της εργασιας της εξω επι τον ισραηλ του γραμματευειν και διακρινειν
ַיִּצְהָרִ֞י כְּנַנְיָ֣הוּ וּבָנָ֗יו לַמְּלָאכָ֤ה הַחִֽיצוֹנָה֙ עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל לְשֹׁטְרִ֖ים וּלְשֹׁפְטִֽים׃
Of the Izharites, Chenaniah and his sons were for the outward business over Israel, for officers and judges.
30 τω χεβρωνι ασαβιας και οι αδελφοι αυτου υιοι δυνατοι χιλιοι και επτακοσιοι επι της επισκεψεως του ισραηλ περαν του ιορδανου προς δυσμαις εις πασαν λειτουργιαν κυριου και εργασιαν του βασιλεως
ַֽחֶבְרוֹנִ֡י חֲשַׁבְיָהוּ֩ וְאֶחָ֨יו בְּנֵי־חַ֜יִל אֶ֣לֶף וּשְׁבַע־מֵא֗וֹת עַ֚ל פְּקֻדַּ֣ת יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל מֵעֵ֥בֶר לַיַּרְדֵּ֖ן מַעְרָ֑בָה לְכֹל֙ מְלֶ֣אכֶת יְהוָ֔ה וְלַעֲבֹדַ֖ת הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃
And of the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his brethren, men of valour, a thousand and seven hundred, were officers among them of Israel on this side Jordan westward in all the business of the LORD, and in the service of the king.
31 του χεβρωνι ιουδιας ο αρχων των χεβρωνι κατα γενεσεις αυτων κατα πατριας εν τω τεσσαρακοστω ετει της βασιλειας αυτου επεσκεπησαν και ευρεθη ανηρ δυνατος εν αυτοις εν ιαζηρ της γαλααδιτιδος
ַֽחֶבְרוֹנִי֙ יְרִיָּ֣ה הָרֹ֔אשׁ לַֽחֶבְרוֹנִ֥י לְתֹלְדֹתָ֖יו לְאָב֑וֹת בִּשְׁנַ֨ת הָֽאַרְבָּעִ֜ים לְמַלְכ֤וּת דָּוִיד֙ נִדְרָ֔שׁוּ וַיִּמָּצֵ֥א בָהֶ֛ם גִּבּ֥וֹרֵי חַ֖יִל בְּיַעְזֵ֥יר גִּלְעָֽד׃
Among the Hebronites was Jerijah the chief, even among the Hebronites, according to the generations of his fathers. In the fortieth year of the reign of David they were sought for, and there were found among them mighty men of valour at Jazer of Gilead.
32 και οι αδελφοι αυτου υιοι δυνατοι δισχιλιοι επτακοσιοι αρχοντες πατριων και κατεστησεν αυτους δαυιδ ο βασιλευς επι του ρουβηνι και γαδδι και ημισους φυλης μανασση εις παν προσταγμα κυριου και λογον βασιλεως
ְאֶחָ֣יו בְּנֵי־חַ֗יִל אַלְפַּ֛יִם וּשְׁבַ֥ע מֵא֖וֹת רָאשֵׁ֣י הָאָב֑וֹת וַיַּפְקִידֵ֞ם דָּוִ֣יד הַמֶּ֗לֶךְ עַל־הָראוּבֵנִ֤י וְהַגָּדִי֙ וַחֲצִי֙ שֵׁ֣בֶט הַֽמְנַשִּׁ֔י לְכָל־דְּבַ֥ר הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים וּדְבַ֥ר הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ פ
And his brethren, men of valour, were two thousand and seven hundred chief fathers, whom king David made rulers over the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh, for every matter pertaining to God, and affairs of the king.
