Fire From the LORD
και ην ο λαος γογγυζων πονηρα εναντι κυριου και ηκουσεν κυριος και εθυμωθη οργη και εξεκαυθη εν αυτοις πυρ παρα κυριου και κατεφαγεν μερος τι της παρεμβολης
ַיְהִ֤י הָעָם֙ כְּמִתְאֹ֣נְנִ֔ים רַ֖ע בְּאָזְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה וַיִּשְׁמַ֤ע יְהוָה֙ וַיִּ֣חַר אַפּ֔וֹ וַתִּבְעַר־בָּם֙ אֵ֣שׁ יְהוָ֔ה וַתֹּ֖אכַל בִּקְצֵ֥ה הַֽמַּחֲנֶֽה׃
And when the people complained, it displeased the LORD: and the LORD heard it; and his anger was kindled; and the fire of the LORD burnt among them, and consumed them that were in the uttermost parts of the camp.
2 και εκεκραξεν ο λαος προς μωυσην και ηυξατο μωυσης προς κυριον και εκοπασεν το πυρ
ַיִּצְעַ֥ק הָעָ֖ם אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֑ה וַיִּתְפַּלֵּ֤ל מֹשֶׁה֙ אֶל־יְהוָ֔ה וַתִּשְׁקַ֖ע הָאֵֽשׁ׃
And the people cried unto Moses; and when Moses prayed unto the LORD, the fire was quenched.
3 και εκληθη το ονομα του τοπου εκεινου εμπυρισμος οτι εξεκαυθη εν αυτοις πυρ παρα κυριου
ַיִּקְרָ֛א שֵֽׁם־הַמָּק֥וֹם הַה֖וּא תַּבְעֵרָ֑ה כִּֽי־בָעֲרָ֥ה בָ֖ם אֵ֥שׁ יְהוָֽה׃
And he called the name of the place Taberah: because the fire of the LORD burnt among them.

Quail From the LORD
και ο επιμικτος ο εν αυτοις επεθυμησαν επιθυμιαν και καθισαντες εκλαιον και οι υιοι ισραηλ και ειπαν τις ημας ψωμιει κρεα
ְהָֽאסַפְסֻף֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר בְּקִרְבּ֔וֹ הִתְאַוּ֖וּ תַּאֲוָ֑ה וַיָּשֻׁ֣בוּ וַיִּבְכּ֗וּ גַּ֚ם בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וַיֹּ֣אמְר֔וּ מִ֥י יַאֲכִלֵ֖נוּ בָּשָֽׂר׃
And the mixt multitude that was among them fell a lusting: and the children of Israel also wept again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat?
5 εμνησθημεν τους ιχθυας ους ησθιομεν εν αιγυπτω δωρεαν και τους σικυας και τους πεπονας και τα πρασα και τα κρομμυα και τα σκορδα
ָכַ֙רְנוּ֙ אֶת־הַדָּגָ֔ה אֲשֶׁר־נֹאכַ֥ל בְּמִצְרַ֖יִם חִנָּ֑ם אֵ֣ת הַקִּשֻּׁאִ֗ים וְאֵת֙ הָֽאֲבַטִּחִ֔ים וְאֶת־הֶחָצִ֥יר וְאֶת־הַבְּצָלִ֖ים וְאֶת־הַשּׁוּמִֽים׃
We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlick:
6 νυνι δε η ψυχη ημων καταξηρος ουδεν πλην εις το μαννα οι οφθαλμοι ημων
ְעַתָּ֛ה נַפְשֵׁ֥נוּ יְבֵשָׁ֖ה אֵ֣ין כֹּ֑ל בִּלְתִּ֖י אֶל־הַמָּ֥ן עֵינֵֽינוּ׃
But now our soul is dried away: there is nothing at all, beside this manna, before our eyes.
7 το δε μαννα ωσει σπερμα κοριου εστιν και το ειδος αυτου ειδος κρυσταλλου
ְהַמָּ֕ן כִּזְרַע־גַּ֖ד ה֑וּא וְעֵינ֖וֹ כְּעֵ֥ין הַבְּדֹֽלַח׃
And the manna was as coriander seed, and the colour thereof as the colour of bdellium.
8 και διεπορευετο ο λαος και συνελεγον και ηληθον αυτο εν τω μυλω και ετριβον εν τη θυια και ηψουν αυτο εν τη χυτρα και εποιουν αυτο εγκρυφιας και ην η ηδονη αυτου ωσει γευμα εγκρις εξ ελαιου
ָׁטוּ֩ הָעָ֨ם וְלָֽקְט֜וּ וְטָחֲנ֣וּ בָרֵחַ֗יִם א֤וֹ דָכוּ֙ בַּמְּדֹכָ֔ה וּבִשְּׁלוּ֙ בַּפָּר֔וּר וְעָשׂ֥וּ אֹת֖וֹ עֻג֑וֹת וְהָיָ֣ה טַעְמ֔וֹ כְּטַ֖עַם לְשַׁ֥ד הַשָּֽׁמֶן׃
And the people went about, and gathered it, and ground it in mills, or beat it in a mortar, and baked it in pans, and made cakes of it: and the taste of it was as the taste of fresh oil.
9 και οταν κατεβη η δροσος επι την παρεμβολην νυκτος κατεβαινεν το μαννα επ αυτης
ּבְרֶ֧דֶת הַטַּ֛ל עַל־הַֽמַּחֲנֶ֖ה לָ֑יְלָה יֵרֵ֥ד הַמָּ֖ן עָלָֽיו׃
And when the dew fell upon the camp in the night, the manna fell upon it.
10 και ηκουσεν μωυσης κλαιοντων αυτων κατα δημους αυτων εκαστον επι της θυρας αυτου και εθυμωθη οργη κυριος σφοδρα και εναντι μωυση ην πονηρον
ַיִּשְׁמַ֨ע מֹשֶׁ֜ה אֶת־הָעָ֗ם בֹּכֶה֙ לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֔יו אִ֖ישׁ לְפֶ֣תַח אָהֳל֑וֹ וַיִּֽחַר־אַ֤ף יְהוָה֙ מְאֹ֔ד וּבְעֵינֵ֥י מֹשֶׁ֖ה רָֽע׃
Then Moses heard the people weep throughout their families, every man in the door of his tent: and the anger of the LORD was kindled greatly; Moses also was displeased.
11 και ειπεν μωυσης προς κυριον ινα τι εκακωσας τον θεραποντα σου και δια τι ουχ ευρηκα χαριν εναντιον σου επιθειναι την ορμην του λαου τουτου επ εμε
ַיֹּ֨אמֶר מֹשֶׁ֜ה אֶל־יְהוָ֗ה לָמָ֤ה הֲרֵעֹ֙תָ֙ לְעַבְדֶּ֔ךָ וְלָ֛מָּה לֹא־מָצָ֥תִי חֵ֖ן בְּעֵינֶ֑יךָ לָשׂ֗וּם אֶת־מַשָּׂ֛א כָּל־הָעָ֥ם הַזֶּ֖ה עָלָֽי׃
And Moses said unto the LORD, Wherefore have you afflicted your servant? and wherefore have I not found favour in your sight, that you lay the burden of all this people upon me?
12 μη εγω εν γαστρι ελαβον παντα τον λαον τουτον η εγω ετεκον αυτους οτι λεγεις μοι λαβε αυτον εις τον κολπον σου ωσει αραι τιθηνος τον θηλαζοντα εις την γην ην ωμοσας τοις πατρασιν αυτων
ֶאָנֹכִ֣י הָרִ֗יתִי אֵ֚ת כָּל־הָעָ֣ם הַזֶּ֔ה אִם־אָנֹכִ֖י יְלִדְתִּ֑יהוּ כִּֽי־תֹאמַ֨ר אֵלַ֜י שָׂאֵ֣הוּ בְחֵיקֶ֗ךָ כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר יִשָּׂ֤א הָאֹמֵן֙ אֶת־הַיֹּנֵ֔ק עַ֚ל הָֽאֲדָמָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר נִשְׁבַּ֖עְתָּ לַאֲבֹתָֽיו׃
Have I conceived all this people? have I begotten them, that you should say unto me, Carry them in your bosom, as a nursing father bears the nursing infant, unto the land which you sware unto their fathers?
13 ποθεν μοι κρεα δουναι παντι τω λαω τουτω οτι κλαιουσιν επ εμοι λεγοντες δος ημιν κρεα ινα φαγωμεν
ֵאַ֤יִן לִי֙ בָּשָׂ֔ר לָתֵ֖ת לְכָל־הָעָ֣ם הַזֶּ֑ה כִּֽי־יִבְכּ֤וּ עָלַי֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר תְּנָה־לָּ֥נוּ בָשָׂ֖ר וְנֹאכֵֽלָה׃
Whence should I have flesh to give unto all this people? for they weep unto me, saying, Give us flesh, that we may eat.
14 ου δυνησομαι εγω μονος φερειν τον λαον τουτον οτι βαρυτερον μοι εστιν το ρημα τουτο
ֹֽא־אוּכַ֤ל אָנֹכִי֙ לְבַדִּ֔י לָשֵׂ֖את אֶת־כָּל־הָעָ֣ם הַזֶּ֑ה כִּ֥י כָבֵ֖ד מִמֶּֽנִּי׃
I am not able to bear all this people alone, because it is too heavy for me.
15 ει δε ουτως συ ποιεις μοι αποκτεινον με αναιρεσει ει ευρηκα ελεος παρα σοι ινα μη ιδω μου την κακωσιν
ְאִם־כָּ֣כָה ׀ אַתְּ־עֹ֣שֶׂה לִּ֗י הָרְגֵ֤נִי נָא֙ הָרֹ֔ג אִם־מָצָ֥אתִי חֵ֖ן בְּעֵינֶ֑יךָ וְאַל־אֶרְאֶ֖ה בְּרָעָתִֽי׃ פ
And if you deal thus with me, kill me, I pray you, instantly, if I have found favour in your sight; and let me not see my wretchedness.
16 και ειπεν κυριος προς μωυσην συναγαγε μοι εβδομηκοντα ανδρας απο των πρεσβυτερων ισραηλ ους αυτος συ οιδας οτι ουτοι εισιν πρεσβυτεροι του λαου και γραμματεις αυτων και αξεις αυτους προς την σκηνην του μαρτυριου και στησονται εκει μετα σου
ַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהוָ֜ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֗ה אֶסְפָה־לִּ֞י שִׁבְעִ֣ים אִישׁ֮ מִזִּקְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵל֒ אֲשֶׁ֣ר יָדַ֔עְתָּ כִּי־הֵ֛ם זִקְנֵ֥י הָעָ֖ם וְשֹׁטְרָ֑יו וְלָקַחְתָּ֤ אֹתָם֙ אֶל־אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֔ד וְהִֽתְיַצְּב֥וּ שָׁ֖ם עִמָּֽךְ׃
And the LORD said unto Moses, Gather unto me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom you know to be the elders of the people, and officers over them; and bring them unto the tabernacle of the congregation, that they may stand there with you.
17 και καταβησομαι και λαλησω εκει μετα σου και αφελω απο του πνευματος του επι σοι και επιθησω επ αυτους και συναντιλημψονται μετα σου την ορμην του λαου και ουκ οισεις αυτους συ μονος
ְיָרַדְתִּ֗י וְדִבַּרְתִּ֣י עִמְּךָ֮ שָׁם֒ וְאָצַלְתִּ֗י מִן־הָר֛וּחַ אֲשֶׁ֥ר עָלֶ֖יךָ וְשַׂמְתִּ֣י עֲלֵיהֶ֑ם וְנָשְׂא֤וּ אִתְּךָ֙ בְּמַשָּׂ֣א הָעָ֔ם וְלֹא־תִשָּׂ֥א אַתָּ֖ה לְבַדֶּֽךָ׃
And I will come down and talk with you there: and I will take of the spirit which is upon you, and will put it upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with you, that you bear it not yourself alone.
18 και τω λαω ερεις αγνισασθε εις αυριον και φαγεσθε κρεα οτι εκλαυσατε εναντι κυριου λεγοντες τις ημας ψωμιει κρεα οτι καλον ημιν εστιν εν αιγυπτω και δωσει κυριος υμιν κρεα φαγειν και φαγεσθε κρεα
ְאֶל־הָעָ֨ם תֹּאמַ֜ר הִתְקַדְּשׁ֣וּ לְמָחָר֮ וַאֲכַלְתֶּ֣ם בָּשָׂר֒ כִּ֡י בְּכִיתֶם֩ בְּאָזְנֵ֨י יְהוָ֜ה לֵאמֹ֗ר מִ֤י יַאֲכִלֵ֙נוּ֙ בָּשָׂ֔ר כִּי־ט֥וֹב לָ֖נוּ בְּמִצְרָ֑יִם וְנָתַ֨ן יְהוָ֥ה לָכֶ֛ם בָּשָׂ֖ר וַאֲכַלְתֶּֽם׃
And say you unto the people, Sanctify yourselves against tomorrow, and all of you shall eat flesh: for all of you have wept in the ears of the LORD, saying, Who shall give us flesh to eat? for it was well with us in Egypt: therefore the LORD will give you flesh, and all of you shall eat.
19 ουχ ημεραν μιαν φαγεσθε ουδε δυο ουδε πεντε ημερας ουδε δεκα ημερας ουδε εικοσι ημερας
ֹ֣א י֥וֹם אֶחָ֛ד תֹּאכְל֖וּן וְלֹ֣א יוֹמָ֑יִם וְלֹ֣א ׀ חֲמִשָּׁ֣ה יָמִ֗ים וְלֹא֙ עֲשָׂרָ֣ה יָמִ֔ים וְלֹ֖א עֶשְׂרִ֥ים יֽוֹם׃
All of you shall not eat one day, nor two days, nor five days, neither ten days, nor twenty days;
20 εως μηνος ημερων φαγεσθε εως αν εξελθη εκ των μυκτηρων υμων και εσται υμιν εις χολεραν οτι ηπειθησατε κυριω ος εστιν εν υμιν και εκλαυσατε εναντιον αυτου λεγοντες ινα τι ημιν εξελθειν εξ αιγυπτου
ַ֣ד ׀ חֹ֣דֶשׁ יָמִ֗ים עַ֤ד אֲשֶׁר־יֵצֵא֙ מֵֽאַפְּכֶ֔ם וְהָיָ֥ה לָכֶ֖ם לְזָרָ֑א יַ֗עַן כִּֽי־מְאַסְתֶּ֤ם אֶת־יְהוָה֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר בְּקִרְבְּכֶ֔ם וַתִּבְכּ֤וּ לְפָנָיו֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר לָ֥מָּה זֶּ֖ה יָצָ֥אנוּ מִמִּצְרָֽיִם׃
But even a whole month, until it come out at your nostrils, and it be loathsome unto you: because that all of you have despised the LORD which is among you, and have wept before him, saying, Why came we forth out of Egypt?
21 και ειπεν μωυσης εξακοσιαι χιλιαδες πεζων ο λαος εν οις ειμι εν αυτοις και συ ειπας κρεα δωσω αυτοις φαγειν και φαγονται μηνα ημερων
ַיֹּאמֶר֮ מֹשֶׁה֒ שֵׁשׁ־מֵא֥וֹת אֶ֙לֶף֙ רַגְלִ֔י הָעָ֕ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר אָנֹכִ֖י בְּקִרְבּ֑וֹ וְאַתָּ֣ה אָמַ֗רְתָּ בָּשָׂר֙ אֶתֵּ֣ן לָהֶ֔ם וְאָכְל֖וּ חֹ֥דֶשׁ יָמִֽים׃
And Moses said, The people, among whom I am, are six hundred thousand footmen; and you have said, I will give them flesh, that they may eat a whole month.
22 μη προβατα και βοες σφαγησονται αυτοις και αρκεσει αυτοις η παν το οψος της θαλασσης συναχθησεται αυτοις και αρκεσει αυτοις
ֲצֹ֧אן וּבָקָ֛ר יִשָּׁחֵ֥ט לָהֶ֖ם וּמָצָ֣א לָהֶ֑ם אִ֣ם אֶֽת־כָּל־דְּגֵ֥י הַיָּ֛ם יֵאָסֵ֥ף לָהֶ֖ם וּמָצָ֥א לָהֶֽם׃ פ
Shall the flocks and the herds be slain for them, to suffice them? or shall all the fish of the sea be gathered together for them, to suffice them?
23 και ειπεν κυριος προς μωυσην μη χειρ κυριου ουκ εξαρκεσει ηδη γνωσει ει επικαταλημψεται σε ο λογος μου η ου
ַיֹּ֤אמֶר יְהוָה֙ אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֔ה הֲיַ֥ד יְהוָ֖ה תִּקְצָ֑ר עַתָּ֥ה תִרְאֶ֛ה הֲיִקְרְךָ֥ דְבָרִ֖י אִם־לֹֽא׃
And the LORD said unto Moses, Is the LORD's hand waxed short? you shall see now whether my word shall come to pass unto you or not.
24 και εξηλθεν μωυσης και ελαλησεν προς τον λαον τα ρηματα κυριου και συνηγαγεν εβδομηκοντα ανδρας απο των πρεσβυτερων του λαου και εστησεν αυτους κυκλω της σκηνης
ַיֵּצֵ֣א מֹשֶׁ֔ה וַיְדַבֵּר֙ אֶל־הָעָ֔ם אֵ֖ת דִּבְרֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה וַיֶּאֱסֹ֞ף שִׁבְעִ֥ים אִישׁ֙ מִזִּקְנֵ֣י הָעָ֔ם וַֽיַּעֲמֵ֥ד אֹתָ֖ם סְבִיבֹ֥ת הָאֹֽהֶל׃
And Moses went out, and told the people the words of the LORD, and gathered the seventy men of the elders of the people, and set them round about the tabernacle.
25 και κατεβη κυριος εν νεφελη και ελαλησεν προς αυτον και παρειλατο απο του πνευματος του επ αυτω και επεθηκεν επι τους εβδομηκοντα ανδρας τους πρεσβυτερους ως δε επανεπαυσατο το πνευμα επ αυτους και επροφητευσαν και ουκετι προσεθεντο
ַיֵּ֨רֶד יְהוָ֥ה ׀ בֶּעָנָן֮ וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר אֵלָיו֒ וַיָּ֗אצֶל מִן־הָר֙וּחַ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָלָ֔יו וַיִּתֵּ֕ן עַל־שִׁבְעִ֥ים אִ֖ישׁ הַזְּקֵנִ֑ים וַיְהִ֗י כְּנ֤וֹחַ עֲלֵיהֶם֙ הָר֔וּחַ וַיִּֽתְנַבְּא֖וּ וְלֹ֥א יָסָֽפוּ׃
And the LORD came down in a cloud, and spoke unto him, and took of the spirit that was upon him, and gave it unto the seventy elders: and it came to pass, that, when the spirit rested upon them, they prophesied, and did not cease.
26 και κατελειφθησαν δυο ανδρες εν τη παρεμβολη ονομα τω ενι ελδαδ και ονομα τω δευτερω μωδαδ και επανεπαυσατο επ αυτους το πνευμα και ουτοι ησαν των καταγεγραμμενων και ουκ ηλθον προς την σκηνην και επροφητευσαν εν τη παρεμβολη
ַיִּשָּׁאֲר֣וּ שְׁנֵֽי־אֲנָשִׁ֣ים ׀ בַּֽמַּחֲנֶ֡ה שֵׁ֣ם הָאֶחָ֣ד ׀ אֶלְדָּ֡ד וְשֵׁם֩ הַשֵּׁנִ֨י מֵידָ֜ד וַתָּ֧נַח עֲלֵיהֶ֣ם הָר֗וּחַ וְהֵ֙מָּה֙ בַּכְּתֻבִ֔ים וְלֹ֥א יָצְא֖וּ הָאֹ֑הֱלָה וַיִּֽתְנַבְּא֖וּ בּֽ͏ַמַּחֲנֶֽה׃
But there remained two of the men in the camp, the name of the one was Eldad, and the name of the other Medad: and the spirit rested upon them; and they were of them that were written, but went not out unto the tabernacle: and they prophesied in the camp.
27 και προσδραμων ο νεανισκος απηγγειλεν μωυση και ειπεν λεγων ελδαδ και μωδαδ προφητευουσιν εν τη παρεμβολη
ַיָּ֣רָץ הַנַּ֔עַר וַיַּגֵּ֥ד לְמֹשֶׁ֖ה וַיֹּאמַ֑ר אֶלְדָּ֣ד וּמֵידָ֔ד מִֽתְנַבְּאִ֖ים בַּֽמַּחֲנֶֽה׃
And there ran a young man, and told Moses, and said, Eldad and Medad do prophesy in the camp.
28 και αποκριθεις ιησους ο του ναυη ο παρεστηκως μωυση ο εκελεκτος ειπεν κυριε μωυση κωλυσον αυτους
ַיַּ֜עַן יְהוֹשֻׁ֣עַ בִּן־נ֗וּן מְשָׁרֵ֥ת מֹשֶׁ֛ה מִבְּחֻרָ֖יו וַיֹּאמַ֑ר אֲדֹנִ֥י מֹשֶׁ֖ה כְּלָאֵֽם׃
And Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of Moses, one of his young men, answered and said, My lord Moses, forbid them.
29 και ειπεν αυτω μωυσης μη ζηλοις συ μοι και τις δωη παντα τον λαον κυριου προφητας οταν δω κυριος το πνευμα αυτου επ αυτους
ַיֹּ֤אמֶר לוֹ֙ מֹשֶׁ֔ה הַֽמְקַנֵּ֥א אַתָּ֖ה לִ֑י וּמִ֨י יִתֵּ֜ן כָּל־עַ֤ם יְהוָה֙ נְבִיאִ֔ים כִּי־יִתֵּ֧ן יְהוָ֛ה אֶת־רוּח֖וֹ עֲלֵיהֶֽם׃
And Moses said unto him, Envy you for my sake? would God that all the LORD's people were prophets, and that the LORD would put his spirit upon them!
30 και απηλθεν μωυσης εις την παρεμβολην αυτος και οι πρεσβυτεροι ισραηλ
ַיֵּאָסֵ֥ף מֹשֶׁ֖ה אֶל־הַֽמַּחֲנֶ֑ה ה֖וּא וְזִקְנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
And Moses got him into the camp, he and the elders of Israel.
31 και πνευμα εξηλθεν παρα κυριου και εξεπερασεν ορτυγομητραν απο της θαλασσης και επεβαλεν επι την παρεμβολην οδον ημερας εντευθεν και οδον ημερας εντευθεν κυκλω της παρεμβολης ωσει διπηχυ απο της γης
ְר֜וּחַ נָסַ֣ע ׀ מֵאֵ֣ת יְהוָ֗ה וַיָּ֣גָז שַׂלְוִים֮ מִן־הַיָּם֒ וַיִּטֹּ֨שׁ עַל־הַֽמַּחֲנֶ֜ה כְּדֶ֧רֶךְ י֣וֹם כֹּ֗ה וּכְדֶ֤רֶךְ יוֹם֙ כֹּ֔ה סְבִיב֖וֹת הַֽמַּחֲנֶ֑ה וּכְאַמָּתַ֖יִם עַל־פְּנֵ֥י הָאָֽרֶץ׃
And there went forth a wind from the LORD, and brought quails from the sea, and let them fall by the camp, as it were a day's journey on this side, and as it were a day's journey on the other side, round about the camp, and as it were two cubits high upon the face of the earth.
32 και αναστας ο λαος ολην την ημεραν και ολην την νυκτα και ολην την ημεραν την επαυριον και συνηγαγον την ορτυγομητραν ο το ολιγον συνηγαγεν δεκα κορους και εψυξαν εαυτοις ψυγμους κυκλω της παρεμβολης
ַיָּ֣קָם הָעָ֡ם כָּל־הַיּוֹם֩ הַה֨וּא וְכָל־הַלַּ֜יְלָה וְכֹ֣ל ׀ י֣וֹם הַֽמָּחֳרָ֗ת וַיַּֽאַסְפוּ֙ אֶת־הַשְּׂלָ֔ו הַמַּמְעִ֕יט אָסַ֖ף עֲשָׂרָ֣ה חֳמָרִ֑ים וַיִּשְׁטְח֤וּ לָהֶם֙ שָׁט֔וֹחַ סְבִיב֖וֹת הַֽמַּחֲנֶֽה׃
And the people stood up all that day, and all that night, and all the next day, and they gathered the quails: he that gathered least gathered ten homers: and they spread them all abroad for themselves round about the camp.
33 τα κρεα ετι ην εν τοις οδουσιν αυτων πριν η εκλειπειν και κυριος εθυμωθη εις τον λαον και επαταξεν κυριος τον λαον πληγην μεγαλην σφοδρα
ַבָּשָׂ֗ר עוֹדֶ֙נּוּ֙ בֵּ֣ין שִׁנֵּיהֶ֔ם טֶ֖רֶם יִכָּרֵ֑ת וְאַ֤ף יְהוָה֙ חָרָ֣ה בָעָ֔ם וַיַּ֤ךְ יְהוָה֙ בָּעָ֔ם מַכָּ֖ה רַבָּ֥ה מְאֹֽד׃
And while the flesh was yet between their teeth, before it was chewed, the wrath of the LORD was kindled against the people, and the LORD stroke the people with a very great plague.
34 και εκληθη το ονομα του τοπου εκεινου μνηματα της επιθυμιας οτι εκει εθαψαν τον λαον τον επιθυμητην
ַיִּקְרָ֛א אֶת־שֵֽׁם־הַמָּק֥וֹם הַה֖וּא קִבְר֣וֹת הַֽתַּאֲוָ֑ה כִּי־שָׁם֙ קָֽבְר֔וּ אֶת־הָעָ֖ם הַמִּתְאַוִּֽים׃
And he called the name of that place Kibrothhattaavah: because there they buried the people that lusted.
35 απο μνηματων επιθυμιας εξηρεν ο λαος εις ασηρωθ και εγενετο ο λαος εν ασηρωθ
ִקִּבְר֧וֹת הַֽתַּאֲוָ֛ה נָסְע֥וּ הָעָ֖ם חֲצֵר֑וֹת וַיִּהְי֖וּ בַּחֲצֵרֽוֹת׃ פ
And the people journeyed from Kibrothhattaavah unto Hazeroth; and abode at Hazeroth.
