1 αμπελος ευκληματουσα ισραηλ ο καρπος αυτης ευθηνων κατα το πληθος των καρπων αυτου επληθυνεν τα θυσιαστηρια κατα τα αγαθα της γης αυτου ωκοδομησεν στηλας
ֶּ֤פֶן בּוֹקֵק֙ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל פְּרִ֖י יְשַׁוֶּה־לּ֑וֹ כְּרֹ֣ב לְפִרְי֗וֹ הִרְבָּה֙ לַֽמִּזְבְּח֔וֹת כְּט֣וֹב לְאַרְצ֔וֹ הֵיטִ֖יבוּ מַצֵּבֽוֹת׃
Israel is an empty vine, he brings forth fruit unto himself: according to the multitude of his fruit he has increased the altars; according to the goodness of his land they have made goodly images.
2 εμερισαν καρδιας αυτων νυν αφανισθησονται αυτος κατασκαψει τα θυσιαστηρια αυτων ταλαιπωρησουσιν αι στηλαι αυτων
ָלַ֥ק לִבָּ֖ם עַתָּ֣ה יֶאְשָׁ֑מוּ ה֚וּא יַעֲרֹ֣ף מִזְבְּחוֹתָ֔ם יְשֹׁדֵ֖ד מַצֵּבוֹתָֽם׃
Their heart is divided; now shall they be found faulty: he shall break down their altars, he shall spoil their images.
3 διοτι νυν ερουσιν ουκ εστιν βασιλευς ημιν οτι ουκ εφοβηθημεν τον κυριον ο δε βασιλευς τι ποιησει ημιν
ִּ֤י עַתָּה֙ יֹֽאמְר֔וּ אֵ֥ין מֶ֖לֶךְ לָ֑נוּ כִּ֣י לֹ֤א יָרֵ֙אנוּ֙ אֶת־יְהֹוָ֔ה וְהַמֶּ֖לֶךְ מַה־יַּֽעֲשֶׂה־לָּֽנוּ׃
For now they shall say, We have no king, because we feared not the LORD; what then should a king do to us?
4 λαλων ρηματα προφασεις ψευδεις διαθησεται διαθηκην ανατελει ως αγρωστις κριμα επι χερσον αγρου
ִּבְּר֣וּ דְבָרִ֔ים אָל֥וֹת שָׁ֖וְא כָּרֹ֣ת בְּרִ֑ית וּפָרַ֤ח כָּרֹאשׁ֙ מִשְׁפָּ֔ט עַ֖ל תַּלְמֵ֥י שָׂדָֽי׃
They have spoken words, swearing falsely in making a covenant: thus judgment springs up as hemlock in the furrows of the field.
5 τω μοσχω του οικου ων παροικησουσιν οι κατοικουντες σαμαρειαν οτι επενθησεν ο λαος αυτου επ αυτον και καθως παρεπικραναν αυτον επιχαρουνται επι την δοξαν αυτου οτι μετωκισθη απ αυτου
ְעֶגְלוֹת֙ בֵּ֣ית אָ֔וֶן יָג֖וּרוּ שְׁכַ֣ן שֹֽׁמְר֑וֹן כִּי־אָבַ֨ל עָלָ֜יו עַמּ֗וֹ וּכְמָרָיו֙ עָלָ֣יו יָגִ֔ילוּ עַל־כְּבוֹד֖וֹ כִּֽי־גָלָ֥ה מִמֶּֽנּוּ׃
The inhabitants of Samaria shall fear because of the calves of Bethaven: for the people thereof shall mourn over it, and the priests thereof that rejoiced on it, for the glory thereof, because it is departed from it.
6 και αυτον εις ασσυριους δησαντες απηνεγκαν ξενια τω βασιλει ιαριμ εν δοματι εφραιμ δεξεται και αισχυνθησεται ισραηλ εν τη βουλη αυτου
ַּם־אוֹתוֹ֙ לְאַשּׁ֣וּר יוּבָ֔ל מִנְחָ֖ה לְמֶ֣לֶךְ יָרֵ֑ב בָּשְׁנָה֙ אֶפְרַ֣יִם יִקָּ֔ח וְיֵב֥וֹשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל מֵעֲצָתֽוֹ׃
It shall be also carried unto Assyria for a present to king Jareb: Ephraim shall receive shame, and Israel shall be ashamed of his own counsel.
7 απερριψεν σαμαρεια βασιλεα αυτης ως φρυγανον επι προσωπου υδατος
ִדְמֶ֥ה שֹׁמְר֖וֹן מַלְכָּ֑הּ כְּקֶ֖צֶף עַל־פְּנֵי־מָֽיִם׃
As for Samaria, her king is cut off as the foam upon the water.
8 και εξαρθησονται βωμοι ων αμαρτηματα του ισραηλ ακανθαι και τριβολοι αναβησονται επι τα θυσιαστηρια αυτων και ερουσιν τοις ορεσιν καλυψατε ημας και τοις βουνοις πεσατε εφ ημας
ְנִשְׁמְד֞וּ בָּמ֣וֹת אָ֗וֶן חַטַּאת֙ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל ק֣וֹץ וְדַרְדַּ֔ר יַעֲלֶ֖ה עַל־מִזְבְּחוֹתָ֑ם וְאָמְר֤וּ לֶֽהָרִים֙ כַּסּ֔וּנוּ וְלַגְּבָע֖וֹת נִפְל֥וּ עָלֵֽינוּ׃ ס
The high places also of Aven, the sin of Israel, shall be destroyed: the thorn and the thistle shall come up on their altars; and they shall say to the mountains, Cover us; and to the hills, Fall on us.
9 αφ ου οι βουνοι ημαρτεν ισραηλ εκει εστησαν ου μη καταλαβη αυτους εν τω βουνω πολεμος επι τα τεκνα αδικιας
ִימֵי֙ הַגִּבְעָ֔ה חָטָ֖אתָ יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל שָׁ֣ם עָמָ֔דוּ לֹֽא־תַשִּׂיגֵ֧ם בַּגִּבְעָ֛ה מִלְחָמָ֖ה עַל־בְּנֵ֥י עַֽלְוָֽה׃
O Israel, you have sinned from the days of Gibeah: there they stood: the battle in Gibeah against the children of iniquity did not overtake them.
10 ηλθεν παιδευσαι αυτους και συναχθησονται επ αυτους λαοι εν τω παιδευεσθαι αυτους εν ταις δυσιν αδικιαις αυτων
ְּאַוָּתִ֖י וְאֶסֳּרֵ֑ם וְאֻסְּפ֤וּ עֲלֵיהֶם֙ עַמִּ֔ים בְּאָסְרָ֖ם לִשְׁתֵּ֥י *עינתם **עוֹנֹתָֽם׃
It is in my desire that I should chastise them; and the people shall be gathered against them, when they shall bind themselves in their two furrows.
11 εφραιμ δαμαλις δεδιδαγμενη αγαπαν νεικος εγω δε επελευσομαι επι το καλλιστον του τραχηλου αυτης επιβιβω εφραιμ και παρασιωπησομαι ιουδαν ενισχυσει αυτω ιακωβ
ְאֶפְרַ֜יִם עֶגְלָ֤ה מְלֻמָּדָה֙ אֹהַ֣בְתִּי לָד֔וּשׁ וַאֲנִ֣י עָבַ֔רְתִּי עַל־ט֖וּב צַוָּארָ֑הּ אַרְכִּ֤יב אֶפְרַ֙יִם֙ יַחֲר֣וֹשׁ יְהוּדָ֔ה יְשַׂדֶּד־ל֖וֹ יַעֲקֹֽב׃
And Ephraim is as an heifer that is taught, and loves to tread out the corn; but I passed over upon her fair neck: I will make Ephraim to ride; Judah shall plow, and Jacob shall break his clods.
12 σπειρατε εαυτοις εις δικαιοσυνην τρυγησατε εις καρπον ζωης φωτισατε εαυτοις φως γνωσεως εκζητησατε τον κυριον εως του ελθειν γενηματα δικαιοσυνης υμιν
ִרְע֨וּ לָכֶ֤ם לִצְדָקָה֙ קִצְר֣וּ לְפִי־חֶ֔סֶד נִ֥ירוּ לָכֶ֖ם נִ֑יר וְעֵת֙ לִדְר֣וֹשׁ אֶת־יְהוָ֔ה עַד־יָב֕וֹא וְיֹרֶ֥ה צֶ֖דֶק לָכֶֽם׃
Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he comes and rain righteousness upon you.
13 ινα τι παρεσιωπησατε ασεβειαν και τας αδικιας αυτης ετρυγησατε εφαγετε καρπον ψευδη οτι ηλπισας εν τοις αρμασιν σου εν πληθει δυναμεως σου
ֲרַשְׁתֶּם־רֶ֛שַׁע עַוְלָ֥תָה קְצַרְתֶּ֖ם אֲכַלְתֶּ֣ם פְּרִי־כָ֑חַשׁ כִּֽי־בָטַ֥חְתָּ בְדַרְכְּךָ֖ בְּרֹ֥ב גִּבּוֹרֶֽיךָ׃
All of you have plowed wickedness, all of you have reaped iniquity; all of you have eaten the fruit of lies: because you did trust in your way, in the multitude of your mighty men.
14 και εξαναστησεται απωλεια εν τω λαω σου και παντα τα περιτετειχισμενα σου οιχησεται ως αρχων σαλαμαν εκ του οικου ιεροβααλ εν ημεραις πολεμου μητερα επι τεκνοις ηδαφισαν
ְקָ֣אם שָׁאוֹן֮ בְּעַמֶּךָ֒ וְכָל־מִבְצָרֶ֣יךָ יוּשַּׁ֔ד כְּשֹׁ֧ד שַֽׁלְמַ֛ן בֵּ֥ית אַֽרְבֵ֖אל בְּי֣וֹם מִלְחָמָ֑ה אֵ֥ם עַל־בָּנִ֖ים רֻטָּֽשָׁה׃
Therefore shall a tumult arise among your people, and all your fortresses shall be spoiled, as Shalman spoiled Betharbel in the day of battle: the mother was dashed in pieces upon her children.
15 ουτως ποιησω υμιν οικος του ισραηλ απο προσωπου κακιων υμων ορθρου απερριφησαν απερριφη βασιλευς ισραηλ
ָּ֗כָה עָשָׂ֤ה לָכֶם֙ בֵּֽית־אֵ֔ל מִפְּנֵ֖י רָעַ֣ת רָֽעַתְכֶ֑ם בַּשַּׁ֕חַר נִדְמֹ֥ה נִדְמָ֖ה מֶ֥לֶךְ יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
So shall Bethel do unto you because of your great wickedness: in a morning shall the king of Israel utterly be cut off.
