| 1 | Jobυπολαβων δε ιωβ λεγειַיַּ֥עַן אִיּ֗וֹב וַיֹּאמַֽר׃ But Job answered and said, |

| 2 | τινι προσκεισαι η τινι μελλεις βοηθειν ποτερον ουχ ω πολλη ισχυς και ω βραχιων κραταιος εστιν ֶה־עָזַ֥רְתָּ לְלֹא־כֹ֑חַ ה֝וֹשַׁ֗עְתָּ זְר֣וֹעַ לֹא־עֹֽז׃ How have you helped him that is without power? how save you the arm that has no strength? |
| 3 | τινι συμβεβουλευσαι ουχ ω πασα σοφια η τινι επακολουθησεις ουχ ω μεγιστη δυναμις ַה־יָּ֭עַצְתָּ לְלֹ֣א חָכְמָ֑ה וְ֝תוּשִׁיָּ֗ה לָרֹ֥ב הוֹדָֽעְתָּ׃ How have you counselled him that has no wisdom? and how have you plentifully declared the thing as it is? |
| 4 | τινι ανηγγειλας ρηματα πνοη δε τινος εστιν η εξελθουσα εκ σου ֶת־מִ֭י הִגַּ֣דְתָּ מִלִּ֑ין וְנִשְׁמַת־מִ֝י יָצְאָ֥ה מִמֶּֽךָּ׃ To whom have you uttered words? and whose spirit came from you? |
| 5 | μη γιγαντες μαιωθησονται υποκατωθεν υδατος και των γειτονων αυτου ָרְפָאִ֥ים יְחוֹלָ֑לוּ מִתַּ֥חַת מַ֝֗יִם וְשֹׁכְנֵיהֶֽם׃ Dead things are formed from under the waters, and the inhabitants thereof. |
| 6 | γυμνος ο αδης επωπιον αυτου και ουκ εστιν περιβολαιον τη απωλεια ָר֣וֹם שְׁא֣וֹל נֶגְדּ֑וֹ וְאֵ֥ין כְּ֝ס֗וּת לָֽאֲבַדּֽוֹן׃ Hell is naked before him, and destruction has no covering. |
| 7 | εκτεινων βορεαν επ ουδεν κρεμαζων γην επι ουδενος ֹטֶ֣ה צָפ֣וֹן עַל־תֹּ֑הוּ תֹּ֥לֶה אֶ֝֗רֶץ עַל־בְּלִי־מָֽה׃ He stretches out the north over the empty place, and hangs the earth upon nothing. |
| 8 | δεσμευων υδωρ εν νεφελαις αυτου και ουκ ερραγη νεφος υποκατω αυτου ֹרֵֽר־מַ֥יִם בְּעָבָ֑יו וְלֹא־נִבְקַ֖ע עָנָ֣ן תַּחְתָּֽם׃ He binds up the waters in his thick clouds; and the cloud is not rent under them. |
| 9 | ο κρατων προσωπον θρονου εκπεταζων επ αυτον νεφος αυτου ְאַחֵ֥ז פְּנֵי־כִסֵּ֑ה פַּרְשֵׁ֖ז עָלָ֣יו עֲנָנֽוֹ׃ He holds back the face of his throne, and spreads his cloud upon it. |
| 10 | προσταγμα εγυρωσεν επι προσωπον υδατος μεχρι συντελειας φωτος μετα σκοτους ֹֽק־חָ֭ג עַל־פְּנֵי־מָ֑יִם עַד־תַּכְלִ֖ית א֣וֹר עִם־חֹֽשֶׁךְ׃ He has compassed the waters with bounds, until the day and night come to an end. |
| 11 | στυλοι ουρανου επετασθησαν και εξεστησαν απο της επιτιμησεως αυτου ַמּוּדֵ֣י שָׁמַ֣יִם יְרוֹפָ֑פוּ וְ֝יִתְמְה֗וּ מִגַּעֲרָתֽוֹ׃ The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his reproof. |
| 12 | ισχυι κατεπαυσεν την θαλασσαν επιστημη δε ετρωσε το κητος ְּ֭כֹחוֹ רָגַ֣ע הַיָּ֑ם *ובתובנתו **וּ֝בִתְבוּנָת֗וֹ מָ֣חַץ רָֽהַב׃ He divides the sea with his power, and by his understanding he strikes through the proud. |
| 13 | κλειθρα δε ουρανου δεδοικασιν αυτον προσταγματι δε εθανατωσεν δρακοντα αποστατην ְּ֭רוּחוֹ שָׁמַ֣יִם שִׁפְרָ֑ה חֹֽלֲלָ֥ה יָ֝ד֗וֹ נָחָ֥שׁ בָּרִֽיחַ׃ By his spirit he has garnished the heavens; his hand has formed the crooked serpent. |
| 14 | ιδου ταυτα μερη οδου αυτου και επι ικμαδα λογου ακουσομεθα εν αυτω σθενος δε βροντης αυτου τις οιδεν οποτε ποιησει ֶן־אֵ֤לֶּה ׀ קְצ֬וֹת *דרכו **דְּרָכָ֗יו וּמַה־שֵּׁ֣מֶץ דָּ֭בָר נִשְׁמַע־בּ֑וֹ וְרַ֥עַם *גבורתו **גְּ֝בוּרוֹתָ֗יו מִ֣י יִתְבּוֹנָֽן׃ ס Lo, these are parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand? |
