| 1 | Stubborn Israelακουσατε ταυτα οικος ιακωβ οι κεκλημενοι τω ονοματι ισραηλ και οι εξ ιουδα εξελθοντες οι ομνυοντες τω ονοματι κυριου θεου ισραηλ μιμνησκομενοι ου μετα αληθειας ουδε μετα δικαιοσυνηςִׁמְעוּ־זֹ֣את בֵּֽית־יַעֲקֹ֗ב הַנִּקְרָאִים֙ בְּשֵׁ֣ם יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וּמִמֵּ֥י יְהוּדָ֖ה יָצָ֑אוּ הַֽנִּשְׁבָּעִ֣ים ׀ בְּשֵׁ֣ם יְהוָ֗ה וּבֵאלֹהֵ֤י יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ יַזְכִּ֔ירוּ לֹ֥א בֶאֱמֶ֖ת וְלֹ֥א בִצְדָקָֽה׃ Hear all of you this, O house of Jacob, which are called by the name of Israel, and are come forth out of the waters of Judah, which swear by the name of the LORD, and make mention of the God of Israel, but not in truth, nor in righteousness. |

| 2 | και αντεχομενοι τω ονοματι της πολεως της αγιας και επι τω θεω του ισραηλ αντιστηριζομενοι κυριος σαβαωθ ονομα αυτω ִּֽי־מֵעִ֤יר הַקֹּ֙דֶשׁ֙ נִקְרָ֔אוּ וְעַל־אֱלֹהֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל נִסְמָ֑כוּ יְהוָ֥ה צְבָא֖וֹת שְׁמֽוֹ׃ ס For they call themselves of the holy city, and stay themselves upon the God of Israel; The LORD of hosts is his name. |
| 3 | τα προτερα ετι ανηγγειλα και εκ του στοματος μου εξηλθεν και ακουστον εγενετο εξαπινα εποιησα και επηλθεν ָרִֽאשֹׁנוֹת֙ מֵאָ֣ז הִגַּ֔דְתִּי וּמִפִּ֥י יָצְא֖וּ וְאַשְׁמִיעֵ֑ם פִּתְאֹ֥ם עָשִׂ֖יתִי וַתָּבֹֽאנָה׃ I have declared the former things from the beginning; and they went forth out of my mouth, and I showed them; I did them suddenly, and they came to pass. |
| 4 | γινωσκω εγω οτι σκληρος ει και νευρον σιδηρουν ο τραχηλος σου και το μετωπον σου χαλκουν ִדַּעְתִּ֕י כִּ֥י קָשֶׁ֖ה אָ֑תָּה וְגִ֤יד בַּרְזֶל֙ עָרְפֶּ֔ךָ וּמִצְחֲךָ֖ נְחוּשָֽׁה׃ Because I knew that you are obstinate, and your neck is an iron sinew, and your brow brass; |
| 5 | και ανηγγειλα σοι παλαι πριν ελθειν επι σε ακουστον σοι εποιησα μη ειπης οτι τα ειδωλα μου εποιησαν και μη ειπης οτι τα γλυπτα και τα χωνευτα ενετειλατο μοι ָאַגִּ֤יד לְךָ֙ מֵאָ֔ז בְּטֶ֥רֶם תָּב֖וֹא הִשְׁמַעְתִּ֑יךָ פֶּן־תֹּאמַר֙ עָצְבִּ֣י עָשָׂ֔ם וּפִסְלִ֥י וְנִסְכִּ֖י צִוָּֽם׃ I have even from the beginning declared it to you; before it came to pass I showed it you: lest you should say, Mine idol has done them, and my graven image, and my molten image, has commanded them. |
| 6 | ηκουσατε παντα και υμεις ουκ εγνωτε αλλα και ακουστα σοι εποιησα τα καινα απο του νυν α μελλει γινεσθαι και ουκ ειπας ָׁמַ֤עְתָּֽ חֲזֵה֙ כֻּלָּ֔הּ וְאַתֶּ֖ם הֲל֣וֹא תַגִּ֑ידוּ הִשְׁמַעְתִּ֤יךָ חֲדָשׁוֹת֙ מֵעַ֔תָּה וּנְצֻר֖וֹת וְלֹ֥א יְדַעְתָּֽם׃ You have heard, see all this; and will not all of you declare it? I have showed you new things from this time, even hidden things, and you did not know them. |
| 7 | νυν γινεται και ου παλαι και ου προτεραις ημεραις ηκουσας αυτα μη ειπης οτι ναι γινωσκω αυτα ַתָּ֤ה נִבְרְאוּ֙ וְלֹ֣א מֵאָ֔ז וְלִפְנֵי־י֖וֹם וְלֹ֣א שְׁמַעְתָּ֑ם פֶּן־תֹּאמַ֖ר הִנֵּ֥ה יְדַעְתִּֽין׃ They are created now, and not from the beginning; even before the day when you heard them not; lest you should say, Behold, I knew them. |
| 8 | ουτε εγνως ουτε ηπιστω ουτε απ αρχης ηνοιξα σου τα ωτα εγνων γαρ οτι αθετων αθετησεις και ανομος ετι εκ κοιλιας κληθηση ַּ֣ם לֹֽא־שָׁמַ֗עְתָּ גַּ֚ם לֹ֣א יָדַ֔עְתָּ גַּ֕ם מֵאָ֖ז לֹא־פִתְּחָ֣ה אָזְנֶ֑ךָ כִּ֤י יָדַ֙עְתִּי֙ בָּג֣וֹד תִּבְגּ֔וֹד וּפֹשֵׁ֥עַ מִבֶּ֖טֶן קֹ֥רָא לָֽךְ׃ Yea, you heard not; yea, you knew not; yea, from that time that yours ear was not opened: for I knew that you would deal very treacherously, and were called a transgressor from the womb. |
| 9 | ενεκεν του εμου ονοματος δειξω σοι τον θυμον μου και τα ενδοξα μου επαξω επι σοι ινα μη εξολεθρευσω σε ְמַ֤עַן שְׁמִי֙ אַאֲרִ֣יךְ אַפִּ֔י וּתְהִלָּתִ֖י אֶחֱטָם־לָ֑ךְ לְבִלְתִּ֖י הַכְרִיתֶֽךָ׃ For my name's sake will I defer mine anger, and for my praise will I refrain for you, that I cut you not off. |
| 10 | ιδου πεπρακα σε ουχ ενεκεν αργυριου εξειλαμην δε σε εκ καμινου πτωχειας ִנֵּ֥ה צְרַפְתִּ֖יךָ וְלֹ֣א בְכָ֑סֶף בְּחַרְתִּ֖יךָ בְּכ֥וּר עֹֽנִי׃ Behold, I have refined you, but not with silver; I have chosen you in the furnace of affliction. |
| 11 | ενεκεν εμου ποιησω σοι οτι το εμον ονομα βεβηλουται και την δοξαν μου ετερω ου δωσω ְמַעֲנִ֧י לְמַעֲנִ֛י אֶעֱשֶׂ֖ה כִּ֣י אֵ֣יךְ יֵחָ֑ל וּכְבוֹדִ֖י לְאַחֵ֥ר לֹֽא־אֶתֵּֽן׃ ס For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another. |
| 12 | Israel Freedακουε μου ιακωβ και ισραηλ ον εγω καλω εγω ειμι πρωτος και εγω ειμι εις τον αιωναְׁמַ֤ע אֵלַי֙ יַֽעֲקֹ֔ב וְיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל מְקֹרָאִ֑י אֲנִי־הוּא֙ אֲנִ֣י רִאשׁ֔וֹן אַ֖ף אֲנִ֥י אַחֲרֽוֹן׃ Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last. |
| 13 | και η χειρ μου εθεμελιωσεν την γην και η δεξια μου εστερεωσεν τον ουρανον καλεσω αυτους και στησονται αμα ַף־יָדִי֙ יָ֣סְדָה אֶ֔רֶץ וִֽימִינִ֖י טִפְּחָ֣ה שָׁמָ֑יִם קֹרֵ֥א אֲנִ֛י אֲלֵיהֶ֖ם יַעַמְד֥וּ יַחְדָּֽו׃ Mine hand also has laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand has spanned the heavens: when I call unto them, they stand up together. |
| 14 | και συναχθησονται παντες και ακουσονται τις αυτοις ανηγγειλεν ταυτα αγαπων σε εποιησα το θελημα σου επι βαβυλωνα του αραι σπερμα χαλδαιων ִקָּבְצ֤וּ כֻלְּכֶם֙ וּֽשֲׁמָ֔עוּ מִ֥י בָהֶ֖ם הִגִּ֣יד אֶת־אֵ֑לֶּה יְהוָ֣ה אֲהֵב֔וֹ יַעֲשֶׂ֤ה חֶפְצוֹ֙ בְּבָבֶ֔ל וּזְרֹע֖וֹ כַּשְׂדִּֽים׃ All you, assemble yourselves, and hear; which among them has declared these things? The LORD has loved him: he will do his pleasure on Babylon, and his arm shall be on the Chaldeans. |
| 15 | εγω ελαλησα εγω εκαλεσα ηγαγον αυτον και ευοδωσα την οδον αυτου ֲנִ֥י אֲנִ֛י דִּבַּ֖רְתִּי אַף־קְרָאתִ֑יו הֲבִיאֹתִ֖יו וְהִצְלִ֥יחַ דַּרְכּֽוֹ׃ I, even I, have spoken; yea, I have called him: I have brought him, and he shall make his way prosperous. |
| 16 | προσαγαγετε προς με και ακουσατε ταυτα ουκ απ αρχης εν κρυφη ελαλησα ουδε εν τοπω γης σκοτεινω ηνικα εγενετο εκει ημην και νυν κυριος απεσταλκεν με και το πνευμα αυτου ִרְב֧וּ אֵלַ֣י שִׁמְעוּ־זֹ֗את לֹ֤א מֵרֹאשׁ֙ בַּסֵּ֣תֶר דִּבַּ֔רְתִּי מֵעֵ֥ת הֱיוֹתָ֖הּ שָׁ֣ם אָ֑נִי וְעַתָּ֗ה אֲדֹנָ֧י יְהוִ֛ה שְׁלָחַ֖נִי וְרוּחֽוֹ׃ פ Come all of you near unto me, hear all of you this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I: and now the Lord GOD, and his Spirit, has sent me. |
| 17 | ουτως λεγει κυριος ο ρυσαμενος σε ο αγιος ισραηλ εγω ειμι ο θεος σου δεδειχα σοι του ευρειν σε την οδον εν η πορευση εν αυτη ֹּֽה־אָמַ֧ר יְהוָ֛ה גֹּאַלְךָ֖ קְד֣וֹשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל אֲנִ֨י יְהוָ֤ה אֱלֹהֶ֙יךָ֙ מְלַמֶּדְךָ֣ לְהוֹעִ֔יל מַדְרִֽיכֲךָ֖ בְּדֶ֥רֶךְ תֵּלֵֽךְ׃ Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD your God which teaches you to profit, which leads you by the way that you should go. |
| 18 | και ει ηκουσας των εντολων μου εγενετο αν ωσει ποταμος η ειρηνη σου και η δικαιοσυνη σου ως κυμα θαλασσης ֥וּא הִקְשַׁ֖בְתָּ לְמִצְוֺתָ֑י וַיְהִ֤י כַנָּהָר֙ שְׁלוֹמֶ֔ךָ וְצִדְקָתְךָ֖ כְּגַלֵּ֥י הַיָּֽם׃ O that you had hearkened to my commandments! then had your peace been as a river, and your righteousness as the waves of the sea: |
| 19 | και εγενετο αν ως η αμμος το σπερμα σου και τα εκγονα της κοιλιας σου ως ο χους της γης ουδε νυν ου μη εξολεθρευθης ουδε απολειται το ονομα σου ενωπιον μου ַיְהִ֤י כַחוֹל֙ זַרְעֶ֔ךָ וְצֶאֱצָאֵ֥י מֵעֶ֖יךָ כִּמְעֹתָ֑יו לֹֽא־יִכָּרֵ֧ת וְֽלֹא־יִשָּׁמֵ֛ד שְׁמ֖וֹ מִלְּפָנָֽי׃ Your seed also had been as the sand, and the offspring of your bowels like the gravel thereof; his name should not have been cut off nor destroyed from before me. |
| 20 | εξελθε εκ βαβυλωνος φευγων απο των χαλδαιων φωνην ευφροσυνης αναγγειλατε και ακουστον γενεσθω τουτο απαγγειλατε εως εσχατου της γης λεγετε ερρυσατο κυριος τον δουλον αυτου ιακωβ ְא֣וּ מִבָּבֶל֮ בִּרְח֣וּ מִכַּשְׂדִּים֒ בְּק֣וֹל רִנָּ֗ה הַגִּ֤ידוּ הַשְׁמִ֙יעוּ֙ זֹ֔את הוֹצִיא֖וּהָ עַד־קְצֵ֣ה הָאָ֑רֶץ אִמְר֕וּ גָּאַ֥ל יְהוָ֖ה עַבְדּ֥וֹ יַעֲקֹֽב׃ Go all of you out of Babylon, flee all of you from the Chaldeans, with a voice of singing declare all of you, tell this, utter it even to the end of the earth; say all of you, The LORD has redeemed his servant Jacob. |
| 21 | και εαν διψησωσιν δι ερημου αξει αυτους υδωρ εκ πετρας εξαξει αυτοις σχισθησεται πετρα και ρυησεται υδωρ και πιεται ο λαος μου ְלֹ֣א צָמְא֗וּ בָּחֳרָבוֹת֙ הֽוֹלִיכָ֔ם מַ֥יִם מִצּ֖וּר הִזִּ֣יל לָ֑מוֹ וַיִּ֨בְקַע־צ֔וּר וַיָּזֻ֖בוּ מָֽיִם׃ And they thirsted not when he led them through the deserts: he caused the waters to flow out of the rock for them: he clave the rock also, and the waters gushed out. |
| 22 | ουκ εστιν χαιρειν τοις ασεβεσιν λεγει κυριος ֵ֣ין שָׁל֔וֹם אָמַ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה לָרְשָׁעִֽים׃ ס There is no peace, says the LORD, unto the wicked. |
